NOT A COLD AIR INTAKE 392XR
I have bought and used dozens of k&n filters and intakes. This system is very hard to verify the hose clamp placement on the filter cone . BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THERE IS A FOAM FILTER INLET NEST TO THE VEHICLE AIR INLET. I MONITOR MY INTAKE TEMPERATURE WITH A BANKS ID AND WHEN MY ENGINE FAN COMES ON MY INTAKE TEMPS GO 60-100 DEGREES ABOVE AMBIENT ITS GETTING ENGINE COMPARTMENT AIR THROUGH THE FOAM.THEY NEED TO OFFER A SEALED COVER INSTEAD OF THE FOAM.
