I've had this intake on my truck for 3 months now and it's make quite a noticable difference in acceleration. When I'm on the highway and give it a little more pedal, the acceleration at speed is very noticeable. It has also improved my gas mileage a little bit as well. It was very easy to install and took my about an hour. I have an after market exhaust on already and it made the exhaust sound deeper. My truck feels more powerful. Definitely getting a little more outta that 6.6L V-8.
Ive been purchasing K&N filters all my life on all my vehicles. This deffinetly opened up my 6.6 gasser and let her breath more, has a good deep growl too.
It totally changed the sound of the exhaust when giving it gas.Looks great and you can hear it working.
Bought the 77 series intake for my 2022 2500 6.6 gas..install was easy...then the most important part of this is to go to air filter life on display and delete air filter life,,,,I did and no check engine light has came on...I have had the intake for almost a year....
I placed this on my truck with only 500 miles. Wow what a difference.. I love it and recommend it to anyone.. you do have to turn off the filter sensor that is in the dash.
I bought the 77 series for my 2020 HD silv. The box was shipped quickly, eggar to get started Installed the filter in about 45 minutes or so. Better Air Intake and Noticeable acceleration pick up but I'm not Thrilled the way the truck acts when the gas pedal is pushed….. Nice Deep growl but doesn't feel right when the pedal is stomped down. I've triple checked all connections everything is secure. Maybe it will take some getting used to. This is the only experience I've had that I've been indecisive about when it comes to K&N
I like your filter products and air intakes. However, I feel I need to run these recent findings past you. I purchased a 77-3103KC cold air intake for my 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD with a 6.6l gasoline engine last fall and finally got a chance to install it today. The kit had some quality deficiencies that you need to know about. First, the intake elbow that connects to the truck's intake was very loose during assembly. I tightened to hose clamp quite a bit to get it to eventually tighten up on the intake. I will have to keep an eye on its seal. It is a very loose fit. The other end fit the kit's tube snugly and I needed only to tighten the clamp a small amount. Second, the replacement CCV hose included in the kit was too large (3/4" ID) for the quick disconnect fittings included in the kit. I was lucky I had some 5/8" ID hose in my garage that was the perfect size. Last, the hose clamps for the CCV hose were some of the poorest quality I have seen in some time. K&N, you need to take another look at the quality of your components in your kits. I will certainly purchase better ones soon. Thank you
2024 Silverado 2500HD 6.6L gas. Installation went great with one minor detail. The CCV hose provided was too short.
Extremely tight fit. The rubber tubing is about half inch too short that runs into intake next to MAF sensor. So now I have to pick up a longer tube to replace. Cheap out on rubber so k&n can make more profit
I bought this for my 2022 Chevy 3500HD with the 6.6 gas motor. Sounds great and you can notice the HP gains , but I lost about 3mpg. I kept it on for about 3 months and took it off? I also went in to the menu and disabled the air filter so I didn't get an alert each time I start my truck, not sure if the others posting reviews figured it out?
