2004 Dodge Ram 1500 w/5.7 Hemi Dear K&N, Wow !!!! Just had a FIPK Generation 2 air intake kit installed.  The sound under my hood is amazing !!!  Price was good.  Installation went well ( so the dealer said...lol ) Its like having a new truck....and gas savings as well !! Very loud! But in a good way. Put it on a 2007 Ram 2500 with a Hemi. I have open pipes from Cat back which is already loud. Now more noise comes from the hood and I think the cab shakes a little at high RPM's. Noticeable power but just a little. Gas mileage? It's worse! That's because I'm always on it. It's how a truck should sound.

Install was easy to complete and explained in an understandable way with pictures. Everything fit up to stock holes. Only problem was the temp sensor didn't have enough wire to fit up easily and took a little tweaking to allow it to seat properly. But over all I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I installed this on my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi R/T. The very first thing I saw was better shifting and throttle response. The power that I now get from the 5.7 Hemi is amazing, and the gas mileage is so much better. With the combination of the K&N 57-1533 cold air intake and the upgraded exhaust, the sound is unbelievably mean.

Excellent product. Easy to install. All parts were included and the instructions were well illustrated and easy to follow. There is a clear performance gain at higher RPM and it has a pleasing intake sound on hard acceleration. The price seemed fair for the product.

I had purchased a replacement K&N filter for my 2004 Ford Ranger.  After a few months driving I noticed slightly better fuel economy.  Just recently I installed a K&N Cold Air Intake on my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 (5.7 HEMI) and all my friends were amazed that the only thing that changed was the intake.  It purs during acceleration as well as having better throttle response and a considerable jump in fuel economy.  My fuel economy gauge stayed steady at 11.8mpg (combination of both highway and city) before the installation.  Now it has leveled off at 14.4mpg with the same driving habits (as well as combination of highway and city driving) that I had before.  It took awhile for me to get over the sound and to stop punching on the gas.

I installed the K&N cold air intake system on my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 hemi. My main goal was to improve my MPG. I must admit I was a bit skeptical of some of the reviews I read about the claims of improved MPG. I took two 500 mile trips with identical conditions recorded the MPG before and after the installation. I got a 10.4% increase in MPG. Not to mention the deep throaty sound that my engine makes now. K&N has made a believer out of me. Highly recommend this product.

This intake was an amazing addition to my Dodge Ram 1500. I noticed serious throttle response and horsepower gains instantly. Easy install and a must have for any truck/car enthusiast. My engine breathes so much better and you can't beat the sound it gives you. Best bang for your buck by far.

I'm installing this kit on my 2004 Dodge Rumble Bee and it was a breeze, the instructions were very detailed and the fit is perfect and custoom looking in detail. The sound is great, this is not a daily driven vehicle so I'm waiting to see how my mileage does. Thanks for a great product!

So I'm pretty excited! The power gain is fairly impressive, sounds and feels like we installed a turbo, takes a sec to get to the power zone but once it does it's mean! Between the dual exhaust and my new K&N system she purrs like a beast. Definitely an affordable and quality move for MORE FUN.
