K&N Performance Cold Air Intake System: Easy Installation, Engineered to Maximize Airflow, Boost Horsepower & Torque, 77-1563KP

Great Item, easy to Install , took me about 20-30 minutes, just be careful with the Charge Air Temp Sensor , I recommend to have an extra one in hand just in case you brake it, is super fragile, is a cheap part but is not always available : Charge Air Temp Sensor- Mopar (5149279AC) I did broke a little plastic part on it that allows it to hold on to the new cold air intake, I had one in hand and put the new one. other than that work is very simple

I thought my Hemi was good enough....wrong! This kit not only gave the engine a deep and obvious throttle moan, but the horsepower improved (no dyno test needed, now squawks tires from stop)!!! WORTH EVERY PENNY! EZ install and fit like a glove!

I have used K&N air filters (OEM replacement), but hesitated to go to the conversion kit due to not wanting an increase in noise. My wife wanted a travel trailer, but did not want a pickup. So we went with the Hemi in the Jeep GC. I gave the kit a try - mainly due to the power increase, but I was ready to buy the OEM replacement filter. The kit is well designed and simple to install. The look is classy. The noise is only noticed when full throttle is needed (?!), as with around town driving and normal acceleration you cannot tell that the kit is in. The polished metal intake tube is well manufactured, except I did have to clean up the threads so that the PVC nipple would thread smoothly. One note as to application and fitment, the nipple as supplied extended down so as it touched the upper radiator hose. I reduced the length to have at least 1 inch clearance. I will continue to order directly for my other filters. Thanks!

I started purchasing K&N filters for our vehicles a few years ago as they provide better mileage and slight horsepower increase. I went ahead and installed the cold air intake on a Commuter car (06 Altima V6) we have and was instantly sold with the horsepower increase in the mid to high RPM range. We gained just over 2/mpg as well. So I went ahead and installed it on out 11 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the hemi and again extremely happy. We are lifetime users of these products. It's a no brainer that you should at the very least use their filters as the cars will breath better!

Installed a 77-1563KP on my 2011 Dodge Durango Citadel with Hemi. Has noticeable power increase and fuel mileage increase. Also the additional sound it makes under acceleration is great. Took approx. 30-40 mins to install. Love this product.

This was my second K&N intake kit. It installed easily and all the parts fit well. Sounds great and the Hemi has more kick.

Easy installation to a 2014 Dodge Durango R/T with 5.7L Hemi. Looks great and works fine!

The tube does not hold the air temperature sensor securely. It allows the sensor to fall out. Poorly manufactured.
