K&N Performance Cold Air Intake System: Easy Installation, Engineered to Maximize Airflow, Boost Horsepower & Torque, 57-1525

1999 Dodge 25005.9 Cummins. After 2 months of driving, after installing the 57-1525 kit (very easy install) my fuel mileage has gone from 20.9 to 22.5 mpg. That is all local (35-55 speed limits) driving. I'm sure a longer trip with open highway would add at least another mpg, probably more. I haven't noticed much difference in throttle response, I'm not a jack rabbit get off the line driver. Very pleased with the results!!

I was skeptical purchasing this product but decided to give it a shot anyway and am glad I did. Received the intake kit for my 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 with a 5.9 diesel motor. Installation was a breeze. It took approximately 35 minutes from start to finish to install. Took the truck for a test drive and noticed an improvement in the acceleration. It has been a few weeks since I installed this product and am now seeing a small increase in fuel mileage. A bit pricey but a great product that I would recommend to others.

The air filter and housing fit my dodge truck without any problem, the installation took about an hour and have had no problem with anything coming loose or falling off. The K&N air filter lets the engine get as much oxygen as needed without restriction, and I will never have to buy another air filter again,

I installed a K&N in the oem box style filter in my 02 Ram 5.9 Cummins truck. It made a noticable diffrence in power and fuel economy. My friends urged me to up grade to the 57-1525 kit, after my happy results with the in box deal. The new kit blew my socks and some doors off. Your 9 H.P.& 12 foot pound figures are way off. I know this from my truck being factory equiped with the high out put motor. As usual my truck was just eating that junk high out put ecm one right after the next. I installed the ecm for the regular not H.O. truck. I knew then what the loss of 10 H.P. was. Your 57-1525 kit gave me far more power than I lost from the ecm swap. It picked my accerlation up 2 times what I lost on the ecm deal. My fuel economy gained 3 to 4 mpg. Thank you for having a low cost solution to my stock problems.

The K&N cold air intake is an awesome product. Lowerd my egt's about 100 degrees and there was a definite horse power torque gain. Installation was easy. Took about 35 minutes. Would definitely recomend k&n to anyone.

The performance intake kit was very eazy to install on my dodge 3500 12v diesel truck and sounds great with a turbo and more power. Thank you.
