I have an 2006 Monte Carlo SS and it's already pretty fast even though people discredit it since it's a fwd car but I added this 63 series air charger to the car and it makes it extremely fast and the car responds so well to it especially since we are at a higher altitude and you can just feel the difference in the responsiveness of the car so I suggest this aircharger for your car if you want real power you can feel.
I have an 08 Impala SS, 5.3L. I installed th K&N cold air intake as well as a flow master exhaust. Man, what an amazing transformation. The car is screaming fast, better on fuel, and more HP. I would recommend this easy install to anyone! Thanks K&N!!
Thanks for a great product. I just installed a new cold air intake for my brand new 2006 impala SS. Waited for the product to come out and finally did. I used K&N products when I was younger and here I am at 44 still using the product. I was a little nervous messing with my new car but you guys made it so simple with your great directions and pictures. It looks great. sounds, looks and feels fantastic! I could not wait to show people that I installed it. I had to write you guys and tell you thanks for not only a great product but easy to install instructions.
Love the AirCharger intake! I use it in conjunction with a throttle body spacer and the results are impressive. I have yet to dyno the car, but the feeling of additional power is apparent and the torque curve seems beefier. Plus, the induction noise when you crack the throttle puts a smile on anyone's face.
After installing the part in my 2008 Impala SS I noticed great improvement in how it isn't as jumpy when stepping on the gas to go fast. It's a great product and will always recommend them to others.
I love this air intake. It gives a nice little boost and sounds mean. Really helps my car stand out from other impalas on the road.
Thank you...love the k&n air I bought for my Grand Prix GXP...this unit brought the car to life.
Perfect fit didn't have any problems with install. Made the 5.3 (LS4) sound even better.
I am only giving this a four, not for the performance upgrade( awesome power increase for what is considered a passenger car, although with a small V8 ), but, Sirs, because, reference on the installation instructions, part No. O,it only came with One (1). Since the original equipment parts that this part No. O replaced would not work any longer, we had to visit two different hardware stores to find a good match for our needs. Luckily, we did and it worked . Other than that, as I said, for a small block V8, front wheel drive, an automatic transmission on top of all that, the car has now lost the lag it had when the car hit 40 miles per hour. Smooth acceleration well thru 70 mphs. THANKS
Have it only 4 stars cause of vibration and the closeness to the opening in the heat shield. Otherwise great product!
