K&N Performance Cold Air Intake System: Easy Installation, Engineered to Maximize Airflow, Boost Horsepower & Torque, 57-3038

Purchased the entire FIPK 2 for my 2004 Chevy Silverado 4.3L, V-6 Vortec. I was getting around 19-20 mpg on the highway, and slight pick-up when passing before the kit was installed. Now, I am getting around 23.6 mpg on the highway and have a lot more horsepower when accelerating. The extra 3 mpg really helps with the gas prices today!! My engine runs cooler and at a lower rpm, even at higher speeds and I have seen an improvement in my fuel economy. Great product!

I recently purchased this kit for my 2001 Silverado 4.3L and all I can say is,WOW!!! I had been using a K&N panel filter for a while now and have been wanting to install this kit for a long time,just never got around to it until now. Installation was easy and the instructions were very easy to follow. As soon as I pulled out of the driveway after installing it and hit the gas I felt a big difference in throttle response and horsepower.After driving with it for a few days now I can say that I am very pleased with this kit and it does exactly what they guarantee it will,that is, increase horsepower.I would recommend K&N to anyone that is in the market for a performance intake or even just a regular panel filter for their vehicle.You can't go wrong with K&N!

Dear K&N, I have been using the filter for 3 yrs, but recently just caved and sprung for the whole intake kit, a new chip, and high flow exhaust. I have a 4.3l 2002 Chevy 1500 and the combined results on the Dyno was 36hpb (143 went up to 179) rear wheel horses or approximately +48 fly wheel horsies for the cheaters out there. Any ways I am glad I went with you guys in my upgrade package. The directions were easy to read, and the whole intake swap from removal to restart only took me and my little brother 25 minutes. Thanks for the Fine Product.

The said product was as advertised and shipping was on time. Installing came easy with the instructions, also performance was proven, with the K&N. Very satisfied and recommend to other customers.

This kit is nice great fit to throttle body and engine bay. The filter lets material get to the MAF. Replaced it with a power pore offset 6in. Instant new truck!! Also tube material take on heat air temp changes from sensor to throttle body.
