Product shipped same day as order and arrived the next day using standard shipping (I live in Michigan). Product installed into a 2014 Silverado in less than 20 minutes. Noticeable gain in HP and responsiveness. Sounds and looks amazing. Averaging 1.7 extra MPG on highway.
Had this CAI for about a month. Sounds great! Easy install. Best fuel gains around 65mph, but with a heavy foot its hard to see the economy side of this product. All in all it gives a more aggressive tone to engine between 2000-3500 RPMs and a small boost to MPGs if you dont floor it everywhere (which is hard to do now that it sounds great).
Installation was a breeze, the video was spot on for the installation. My only surprise was when I went for a test drive and heard this new throaty growl when I got on the throttle. Didn't expect to hear a difference in the engine, kinda like getting on it just to hear that growl!
This is my second intake I have purchased from K&N I had one on my 2005 Chevy and now my 2014 Chevy. K&N intakes are very easy to install it takes longer to remove the factory intake than to install the K&N and the difference in performance and gas mileage is very noticeable (well worth the money).
So I ordered this performance air intake for my brand new 2015 Sierra 1500 and was super excited when I received it. Super easy installation and everything was going without a hitch until I was putting on the crank case vent fittings. The instructions state 2 turns with a wrench and after a half turn it broke in half. I called K&N customer service the next day and they overnighted me 2 new ones. Customer service was awesome!!!! Thanks K&N. Just a recommendation, I would change the crank case vent fittings from plastic to aluminum or something a little more durable. After I got it installed it sounds absolutely amazing.
Easy install. Really woke up my Escalade! It does create more cabin noise when you step hard on the gas but that is one of things I like about it. When cruising or driving normal there is minimal intake noise. Highly recommend.
Noticeable difference in flow and nice growl when accelerating. Improved takeoff when towing and increase of 1 to 1 1/2 miles per gallon on first 100 miles.
installed in within 2 hours on 2018 high country. Purchased brass fittings to replace plastic ones for crank case vent hoses. Test Drive indicated more responsive engine and so far gas mileage increased approximately 2 mpg. This is a must purchase to bring new life to your engine.
Love the product and the availability of a metal tube. The only drawback to this model is the plastic crankcase adapters that thread into the tube. They are very weak and in my case broke during the hose installation. Replacements were sent at no charge but a metal version would be way better. Overall, I am satisfied with the product.
Nice intake, didn't send me the hardware and have waited over a week for them to mail it to me. I'd look somewhere with better customer service, doesn't really seem like they care about their customers at all.
