This intake is a perfect fit on my 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road. Doesn't take up too much room in the engine bay like other intakes so there is still plenty of room for mounting accessories. The induction noise is top notch! When you hit the gas you really sound like you're driving a truck that has some power behind it, especially above 3700 RPM. Easy to install, I did it in my driveway with basic hand tools in ~30 minutes. I will be using K&N products on all of my vehicles in the future.
I bought this product for my 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4, increase in horsepower and it sounds great when accelerating! Would recommend to any Taco owner! Give it the Beans!!!
This is the third K&N intake system I installed. Installation went smoothy. Engine sound is a little louder than my last Tacoma. I plan to sound baffle the intake box slightly. It is a good product.
No problems to report seems to be a pretty solid kit, running great since installation and very easy to diy. One thing to note is it does give a very specific added tone from 3-5k rpm which I personally like a lot
Was exactly as advertised. Easy to install… my 16 year old son did most of the installation. Added gas mileage and performance… Quiet until 3000 rpm. Is throaty when I punch it !!! Which is what I wanted because I live in a complex.
Well manufactured, easy install, perceived performance is better. The only issue was there are 4 clamps, 2 of one size 2 of another. I received 3 of one size 1 of another. Had to use one of the OEM clamps. All in all very happy!
I have a 2017 Tacoma. The Cold air intake unleashed the beast. I have no issues traveling through the mountains of Colorado.
Well made and simple install. But the intake makes a popping noise when engine idles up for example when the AC compressor kicks on.
I Enjoy the products very much but next time I'll buy from a nearby retailer due to return policy. Had to pay for shipping back n then have to wait for 2 wks for my refund!
Vibrates loose to much even after torqued down. Intake pipe is too short and have to Jimmy rig the fit. Intake plastic pipe too short.
