It's a nice upgrade that definitely helps with the overall experience of the engine.

Fun Noise Maker
It sounds great, especially above 3500 RPM. Feels like a good compromise, for a CARB-approved intake. 5th and 6th gear seem to hold a bit longer, before a downshift is necessary. I've seen a slight improvement in fuel economy - when I'm not giving it the beans at every light. Can't say it's made the truck any faster; however, the butt dyno likes it. Pair this with a good tune and you've got yourself a spicy Taco :)

+ performance
Increased performance with this intake set, and being based in California this would be my only option. I would like to say if you are interested in getting this part, order directly from K&N as they would be the only ones shipping in California compared to other retailers. And their customer service is amazing.

Simple installation
Installation is very simple. You will only need a couple tools. The instructions should mention that you will be removing the stock housing to put the tube in it's place.

Happy so far...
According to my butt dyno it feels like there is some improvement over the stock OEM intake tube. Do i have numbers to prove this? No. Improved MPG? Maybe still havent had enough freeway miles to make a judgment yet.

K&N 57 Air intake
I have used K&N products for years and this one is just as good as the others. Helps increase my throttle response and allows more air to get to my engine. Great product!

Install was super easy. Notice a bit of increase in fuel economy, power, and intake noise. I like it.
