Easy to install and a great price! 2005 Jeep Libery.
I Purchased a 2007 Jeep Liberty 2WD 3.7L and had been getting between 285 to 310 miles per tank of gas on a 20 gal. tank so... 16 MPG rounded up average. I installed my K&N Intake System and Noticed that I was now getting 330 to 350 Miles Per tank of gas!!! Thats 18 MPG a 2MPG increase, This with ALOT more Power! Even with Jeep's ANNOYING Torque Management system (reduces Torque along the whole powerband according to load and traction) it has SO Much More power and I noticed that you can hear the Motor really come to life. K&N Customer For life!
Great results with the AirCharger on my 05 Jeep Liberty 3.7L 4x4 I recently purchased the K&N air charger (air intake) kit for my 2005 Jeep Liberty 3.7L 4x4. I'm not an auto mechanic by any means, so the very detailed installation instructions were perfect as I had the kit installed within the 90 minute estimated install time. After the install, I took it for a drive and instantly noticed the additional power and the transmission seemed to be shifting much more smoothly now. A few days after that, I pulled my ATV from NC to WV through the mountains. When pulling up the big hills, I could really feel the difference in that the engine didn't seem to work as hard. If the engine downshifted, there was more power than before. I had been tracking my gas mileage prior to the install and after the install. Consumer Reports rated my Jeep in their "real" test as having 10 city and 22 highway. Before the install, I was getting about 15-16 on my normal drive (no highway). Now, I am getting 17-18 mpg. That doesn't sound like much, but just that much difference can add up to almost 40 more miles per tank (20 gallon tank). That's a savings of over 2 gallons of gas per tank at $3.00/gallon which is about $6.00 per fill up! So, not only did I gain the extra power, I save money at the pump!
This is my 5th vehicle I've placed one of your cold air intakes on. It's super easy to install, 15-20 mins, the increase in power is noticeable.. especially when matched with a dual outlet muffler. Worth every penny.
