Just installed on my 300C 5.7 Hemi. Instant response and terrific sound already. Now cat-back exhaust and then the magic happens. Easy installation 60 minutes or so. Have few more cars with K&N cold intakes, but this one on the Hemi is instant difference. Hemi needs to breath to perform. K&N delivers thanks. Regards

This was so simple and intuitive to install. Watched the online video for a Dodge Magnum and then put it in my Dodge Charger R/T 5.7L with absolutely no issues. I forgot to check how long it took but eaisly under 40 minutes ... in my garage, by myself at 10:30 at night with one shop light ... very easy. The change in the tone of the exhast note was imediately noticable. You can actually hear the engine breathing easier now. The change in excelleration off the line was imediately noticable. In retrospect, it was readily apparent how restrictive the factory intake was copmared to this performance intake.

2006 300 C is the car I installed this on. So the guy at the parts store where I went to purchase my 10 mm open end wrench (you WILL need one, sockets and pliers and my assortment of other tools were no substitute) could not complain more about my choice in cold air intakes. He was regurgitating a recent trend in anti-K&N propaganda. It doesnt make more horsepower and It will ruin your car. What a total tool. LOL. This cai has been the best thing Ive done for my car in a long time. The sound is amazing. The fuel economy is obviously better after I installed it. Easily apparent is the increase in power. More torque, more hp. It's a no brainer. If you are on the fence about making this purchase, get off the fence, get off your butt, and get 'er done. The instructions on how this device operates could not be more clear. This is NOT an install and forget item. You MUST check it periodically to make sure its all right and tight. I feel the people who post negative remarks about this product are ignoring this basic fact. Make sure its tight, and your engine will run right. Peace.

I am very pleased with the results from the installation of Kit 57-1542. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. It took me less then an hour to install, and the difference in performance was very noticeable. Plus who wouldn't like the nice sound coming from the exhaust. I just had a smog check done for my registration, and it passed with flying colors. Just make sure your have the certification tag, that is provided, is in full view.

Unbelievable! Insane! Astonishing!  Without a doubt the best money I have ever spent on a vehicle.  I installed the 57 Series FIPK on my Chrysler 300C (5.7) and the throttle response is incredible.  It was always fast (confirmed by the numerous mustangs that I have blasted past), but now it's just insane!  Another great benefit is the sound the engine makes now...now it sounds just as fast as it is.  The down side is that the power is addictive!  I want even more!  Here comes Predator, headers, Cam, etc.!!!  

Excellent product. Been using K&N for many years. Excellent quality. Package was short one silicone sleeve. I sent and email request. Haven't heard back yet. Fabricated my existing intake tube to make it work as it was the last part I needed to complete the install. No big deal. Got it up and running.

We started using K&N products on all 3 of our drag race vehicles 5 years ago. We began to see immediate results in performance and round wins. Currently, ALL of our vehicles (race, daily drivers, tow vehicles, etc.) run K&N products including air intake systems, air filters, fuel filters, and oil filters. The biggest impact we see is with the air intake systems. On our 2010 Dodge Challenger 5.7L V8, we installed the K&N Air Intake system part No.57-1542. Not only do you FEEL the extra HP and torque, you also see an improvement in MPG. I'm not sure how K&N engineers these things, but if you can give me more power AND increase my fuel mileage - I'll take that every day of the week! Thank you K&N.

I installed the 57-1542 cold air intake on my 2006 Dodge Magnum R/T and am very happy with the results.  The installation was easy and clean.  I can't verify the horsepower increase, but I can attest to noticable improvements in performance, fuel economy and sound.  There have been lengthy debates on the value/return on cold air intakes on-line and with other products that may be true, but in this case, the benefits are there with no compromise in driveability.  

I did have to do a little trimming and experimenting with the rubber trim & worm-clamp locations. Otherwise, I really like the fit and function of the filter assembly. Shortly after installation I drove from Syracuse, NY to Tucson, AZ; upon my arrival and subsequent inspection of my vehicle,I expected some things to loosen up or wiggle free-the K&N filter was not one of them. A great product, exactly what I expected from K&N! Thanks!
