K&N Performance Cold Air Intake System: Easy Installation, Engineered to Maximize Airflow, Boost Horsepower & Torque, 57-3062

Install was straight forward and took no more than 20 minutes having the right tools. I did the install and a ECM re-set to allow it to adjust to the new air intake parameters and I've noticed a improvement in idle and performance. My application was for a 4.2 L6 engine on a 06 Rainier, nothing fancy just wanted to improve on the shoddy factory breather box that they come with OEM. Its been a few weeks now and I'm glad I made the purchase.

When I installed the kit, I noticed an increased power band when getting on the throttle on the highway. I also have been noticing the slight gas mileage increase. Although I personally recommend that you add additional equipment if you are looking for more performance as the kit as a stand alone is slightly sub par to overall performance needs. All in all, the kit is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get max breathe into their own vehicle.
