I've had it on my truck for about 6 months now and it made a insane difference on how my truck runs first it took out the rough idle it had. And it made my truck sound incredible a lot deeper tone to the exhaust and the engine sounds very throaty. I bought a 2000 Ford F-250 with the 5.4l Triton and with 183,000 miles I changed my oil with Royal Purple 5w20 and of course, the K&N oil filter.  When I initially bought the truck it had the cheap "brand removed" filter and some cheap, low end oil.  It ran fine, but after installing the filter and using the Royal Purple oil it's running really smooth, next month I'll be adding the K&N FIPK 57 Series air intake for it.  My dad also has a 2005 Ford F-250 with the 6.0l Diesel and he has the K&N air intake as well, we're both very impressed, great job!

K&N Filter Believer! I just purchased a 2003 F-250 Super Duty with a 5.4 engine only to find out it got 9 MPG.!!! We use the truck for service adding up lots of miles per month. After reading about your air filter and grumbling about the price I purchased one... Boy are we saving at the pump now!!! 13 MPG! Doesn't seem like a lot to your around town drivers but this truck gets the oil changed every 6 weeks (yes every 3000 miles). Add it up, at the end of the year we saved a lot more than that filter cost. Thank you! Your product is great... but now could you do something about my Motherinlaw?

I put on an intake system on a 1999 F250 5.4. The instructions were easy to follow, all parts fit perfect. This truck is use to pull a 27 ft. Airstream so when we get back from Florida in Nov. I will comment on performance, but from test drives this truck runs great. What an excellent product.

I LOVE K&N every filter on my "2003 F250" is a K&N filter, Oil filter, Fuel filter and my favorite my COLD AIR INTAKE. I wanted to see what K&N could bring to the table to help increase towing power because I have the little Wimpy 5.4 triton in a super duty and I gotta say with the cold air intake it improved everything especially downshifts going uphill and accelerating onto the freeway. And with the Fuel filter I noticed much faster cold start times and way quicker throttle response and higher Rpm's came much easier to the truck now after the filter. And with the oil filter your not going to notice much of a difference because well it's an oil filter I purchased the oil filter just to show I'm a true K&N Supporter

I installed this on my 2000 F250 (5.4L) and was impressed with the ease of installation and increased fuel mileage. I saw an increase of 2+ mpg on the freeway. Thanks K&N!
