Just installed this on my 2014 Tundra. Easy to install, but not necessarily in the correct order. Install the rubber seal around the shield before you install it onto your vehicle. Easier to put on when not in the vehicle. I installed the shield but had to remove it again to put the rubber seal on. Otherwise easy to install. Truck sounds amazing, better acceleration as well. Do not yet know if fuel mileage has improved yet.
Had purchased a similar unit for my new 2002 Tundra. Just got this one installed in my new 2014 Tundra. Have noticed a significant acceleration boost when passing other vehicles, but not sure yet if increased gas mileage, although the average MPG has increased from 16.4 to 17 since installation. I'd LIKE to attribute this change to the K&N unit. Have also been using other K&N air filters for our other cars for many years. Really like your products.
Just purchased a K&N air intake system for my 2014 Toyota Tundra CrewMAX W/ 5.7L. It was so easy to order and I felt the price was absolutely Great and then there was Free Shipping...WOW!!!! In the past I usually purchased another name in air intakes as they were less expensive but now I have The Name in air intakes/air filters...at a Great Price...can't be any happier! Thanks.
Bought the product for my 2010 tundra crewmax and best decision I've made. Its not only easy to install but it boost up some power and fuel efficiency ( not a whole lot but its a lot for a v8 if you know what i mean ). I'm satisfied with the product and the quality and of cors price is reasonable. I'd do it again and again for another of my vehicle if i had the chance to do so. K&N rocks!!!!
I just installed the K&N filter in my 2014 Tundra 5.7L and I was very pleased with the results. I felt my truck lighter and with a better response every time I pressed the gas pedal. I also noted that in the highway driving between 60-70 mph I had better fuel efficiency. My truck improved 2 to 3 miles per gallon and at the same time with a quicker response and sound. So far I am very happy to see how this modification to my truck has several benefits such as more hp, better fuel efficiency and sporting sound. I would recommend this product to anyone interested in having a better performance for his/her truck.
Great Product. Give yourself (if you have never installed one before) 3 hours. I have installed multiple K&N products on all my vehicles and it took me about 1 hour 30 minutes. Installed correctly on my Tundra, it does whistle similar to the sound of a turbo spooling. This is normal for the air intake and is the sound of air passing the mass air flow sensor. Great quality, noticeable performance boost, noticeable MPG increase. Sounds great. Looks great. Cheapest, most beneficial part that can be added to any vehicle. A +++++++++
K&N is top notch. I searched high an low for a quality air intake that would fit my 2014 Toyota Tundra Crew Cab 5.7 V8. I was very concerned with performance, fit, finish and install directions regarding my new model year. After reading the instructions and watching their video, I was able to install it with basic tools in my driveway. I did a base line test with factory air intake vs K&N cold air intake and was very impressed. Intake noise during everyday driving is slightly increased but when you get the engine above 3200 RPM the Tundra becomes a whole new animal. Paired with a [brand] dual exhaust or similar you will find yourself with a truck that preforms as great as it sounds. 2014 Tundra Crew Cab Limited 5.7 V8, TRD 4x4, fiberglass tonneau cover, [brand] Sway Bar and all terrain tires. Test 0-60 2-runs, 2 wheel drive. 2-runs 4 wheel drive. Best run recorded - 3540 miles 1/2 tank 93 octane 41 degrees. Tundra stock intake and stock exhaust 6.9. 4200 miles 1/2 tank 93 octane 40 degrees. Tundra stock intake and [brand] exhaust 6.7. 5100 miles 1/2 tank 93 octane 37 degrees K&N 63-9036 intake and [brand] exhaust 6.3. Thanks.
Excellent Performance!! It feels like a new vehicle. When I nail the go pedal, it sounds amazing as the engine gulps air. This is my first experience with a K & N filter performance kit. I'm very pleased. Thank you,
The performance and fuel economy were there. A tad over 1 mpg increase. Unfortunately my Tundra was throwing MAF codes left and right. It just didn't like it. Customer service was outstanding. Was looking forward to better gas mileage, but not at risk of leaning out a cylinder. Not K&N's fault at all, just my luck.
Overall satified with performance. the only con would be, the drastic impact on MPG.
