I just put your K&N intake kit on my wife's 2004 Impala SS LE with a supercharger and the response is unbelievable. Not only is it much QUICKER, it gets 3-4 mpg. My wife was a little skeptical when I told her what I was doing, but now she loves it. She handles the car very well for a 70 year old grandmother. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
I absolutely LOVE this product!! It really begun to 'wake up' the 3800 Supercharged V-6 in my '04 Impala SS! It just goes to show you how restrictive the stock intake really is. I can actually feel the HP gain especially off idle, it feels so much more responsive. Install time was about an hour and a half like the website states. Not sure how the fuel MPG improved yet since I haven't driven a full tank of gas. I do recommend this product ESPECIALLY for anyone with a factory supercharger/turbo charger.
Purchased kit for 2002 Grand Prix with 3.8L with over 100,000 miles. Installation was easy and directions very good. Fuel mileage in town increased almost three miles per gallon. Engine response is very good. Waiting for the F150 for the 3.7 liter v6 to become available so I can install on my pick up. Nice clean installation and have no problems.
I put this performance air intake in my 1999 Buick Regal GS 3.8L. The throttle responce was much better, it makes my supercharger sound better when it kicks on and makes my engine bay look better. My only complaint is that the instructions told me the wrong socket size on mulitple nuts and bolts. Other than that the intake made a noticable difference in power and was well worth the cost.
I recently put a FIPK Generation 2 intake in my 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP and I am completely satisfied with this product. The intake gave me a power gain that was very noticable, and also a nice noise under the hood (really good supercharger whine!!!) I completely support this product and all other K&N products, it is the only way to go.
Great product! I installed this cold air filter on my Pontiac and I really loved it. So much fun to get on it. Easy to install, clean and recharge. Great air flow and performance. This is the only brand filter I will use on engines.
Amazing product. Definitely worth the money.
The installation was a breeze. The car sounds and runs great. Noticeable boost in power.
5 Star Review
Worked pretty well overall, but one of the nuts didn't fit on the transmission clip stud so the bracket is just sitting on the stud.
