Was easy to install, with right tools,you will have to drill a 3/4 inch hole into the inlet ,witch is a big hole,also I had to put silicone around filters to make them stay on,they kept sliding off the end if intake because of slick plastic,but all easily done takes about 40mins,and your 14HP is done

I am a huge K&N Filters fan. There are several companies who are now making reusable filters, but I prefer the original. Although your products enable my engines to make more power, more torque, better throttle response, and better fuel economy, I use K&N filters simply because it makes sense to. Less impact on the environment, and cheaper for me in the long run. You guys make incredible products, your technical assistance is outstanding, and your continued support of drag racing is aces in my book! Thank you.

Most of my performance vehicles have been modified with K&N filter systems, so my Viper also got one. However, after installation, the stock air collector upper piece would not fit back on. No matter what I tried. Not sure what happened in production and measuring, but my upper piece will need to be modified to fit back on, modified by cutting. The other issue I've had has been a quality control issue, the cut on the passenger side intake that you place the filter on to is not straight, creating an oval shape not circle. This requires the clamp to be tightened a bit more creating a situation where the filter slips off on occasion. This has happened twice and fortunately the filter has caught on the edge of the intake and not fallen into the belts. Not impressed with the manufacturing on this one.
