Air filter is higher priced but last a lifetime. Easy to install just be sure to keep foam padding from old filter.
I have always used K&N products in my cars they perform so much better than any other brand.
Fits the same as original and gained close to 1mpg

Great product
Good filter provides increases truck performance. unfavourably it doesn't include the corner foam piece that provides a proper fitting.
Ive always used k&n filters in all my vehicles and had no doubts about this one for my f250. But it still needs some fine tuning for sure. I had an issue with the filter being too tall to fit in the airbox, my lid would not seal to the box at all. It caused the lid to float above the box and stretch out the plastic snap on clips. I think between the stock filter having a softer foam base and cap, and the fact that the oem filter actually compresses a little allows it to fit better. After saying the heck with it and running the k&n anyway for a full tank of fuel I found my fuel mileage was consistently lower (0.5-0.9mpg). After swapping back to the dirty stock filter with 30k miles on it the original fuel mileage was back! I also had an issue with the missing foam block that is sold separately. I fought the system and just carefully pulled mine off the stock filter and reused it without any issues.
The oil on K&N filters contaminates the Mass Air Flow Sensor, triggering an engine code. It took only a couple of hours for this to happen. I went back to a stock filter, and after a couple of days the code disappeared. I reached out to K&N but never got a reply. I'll stick with stock.
