Washable replacement and performance

I purchased a K&N air filter for my 2009 Toyota Corolla, 1.8L.  I do probably 75% of my driving on the highway, and in the first 6,000 miles with the stock air filter I was averaging 32.6 mpg (car rated 26 city, 34 highway).  After the first 2,000 miles with the K&N air filter I'm averaging 34.2 mpg.  At that rate, the filter will have paid for itself after only about 14,000 miles!

Obtained this air filter to enhance the performance/fuel economy for my 2011 RAV4.  I do most of my driving under 50 mph, which was using gas pretty fast.  Installation was a little bit tricky-you have to carefully place it in without tearing out wires.  After a week of disappointment, I remembered to reboot the cars computer it was stuck showing 21.1 mpg.  With my current tank of gas I am showing more than a 2.5 mpg improvement so far-pretty good considering its the V6 AWD model. And, the filter is guaranteed for beyond the life of this car, so I am definitely satisfied.

I have K&N air filters in every vehicle I own now and in the past. Best air filter on the market. If you want extremely clean air into your engine, you have no choice but to use a K&N air filter. They are easy to clean. And should last forever. Thanks K&N for making an outstanding product.

Every vehicle I have ever had (3) I have put either this filter or a whole K&N air intake system in my cars and I am always pleased with them. My Corolla is suppose to get 31 mp3 combined and right now I'm getting 34 mpg.

I've driven approximately 200 miles with the K&N replacement air filter and am seeing a significant fuel economy advantage. Seeing at least a 4 mile per gallon increase. Absolutely worth the purchase price.

I have been using K & N filters for several years now and I like them very much. All you really need to do is to clean them, which is an easy job, and they will last as long as you own your car and probably longer.

My car has better gas mileage and more power in the engine. When you're at a full stop and step on the gas, the car just takes off and you here the air going into the engine like a race car.

The filter fit easily. I haven't noticed any improvement in mileage or power in my '09 Toyota Matrix. My previous car was a '94 Honda Accord. It had a slight improvement in gas mileage after I put in a K&N air filter.
