I heard of K&N filters for the longest time, and had the opportunity to try out one of the air filters for a Hyundai Elantra 08 model. I am using the drop in filter, hence DIY was pretty much straight forward. The initial response was just amazing. To prove that this was not just mere phychological, a similar model car was sent for a Dyno test, and it was proven that K&N filter does increase the Horse Power of the car by at least 5hp compared to the stock filter. I couldn’t be more happy and proud. My next mission to try to source of the K&N air filter for my Vulcan 500 bike :) Folks at K&N - thank you very much.
Your service was excellent. I would shop online again. The product I purchased is an excellent one. Quick story: I once owned a 2003 Toyota Camry using your K&N filter. I was getting a solid 27mpg. The Toyota Dealership replaced it because it was dirty. Their new clean filter got me 23mpg. I put my dirty K&N filter back in and my 27mpg return. AWESOME FILTER - worth the money.
I have been always a deep believer in these re-usable filters. This is one of those few companies that stand for what they advertise, they are indeed the best on the planet when it comes to air filters!! I had these in my last 2 cars and wow!!!, You can forget about changing filters! I bought one for my current Kia Forte Coupe SX and the mileage per gallon went up by far. This car is rated 32MPG highway (SX model) and I was able to extract 39MPG in a trip from Taylor to Houston (2.5 hours of driving and some stops in some towns)!!! That is significant! Also, I am sure that I got some more horsepower since my car felt faster than when new with the OEM paper filter. My dealership also respects the K&N sticker and my warranty is not void.I recomment this product to anyone who really cares about quality and performance. It is a no brainer to get more performance without altering anything in your engine. Just buy the cleaning kit and you will never have to change this baby. Guaranteed!
I'm using a drop-in air filter on my new Hyundai Elantra (2008 model). What else can I say.... one word, 'AWESOME'. I never felt so wonderful before with smooth acceleration and better fuel efficiency. Keep it up guys and thank you so much!!
My gas mileage has increased 2 mpg while driving in town. I have not had a chance to go on a trip to check the mileage on the highway yet.
Made a big difference in mileage and power!!!
excellent and easy to install and clean
