The quality seems very good. I liked it and it fit perfectly in my car. I just have to keep an eye on it to have it cleaned routinely, and I also had the stickers attached on the cabin inside and the engine side of the filters, so they are cleaned, not replaced in the future as well
Best washable air filter. Worth every penny!
Perfect fit for the best price
Great product
My wife's car is over engineered in that it has two air filters for its engine. Nevertheless buying 2 filters that will last for the life of her car will save us twice the $$ of just one. If the website had warned me to look under the hood before I ordered, I would have been ahead. As it was I bought the second through a local auto parts store and it got here in just 2 days rather than the 2 weeks from the website. Installation was easy and I am feeling better with the use. Thanks for the stickers telling the oil change people not to throw them away!
WOW...what a difference having replaced the stock Toyota air filters with K&N replacements. I used the plural because the Lexus LS460 has 2 separate air filters. The car is an absolute BEAST having easily raised the horsepower to over 400+ while maintaining similar fuel economy. I'll probably get better MPG when I stop stomping on it just to feel the POWER! Replace the stock chip and void the warranty...absolutely no way. But changing the air filters (and NOT VOIDING the warranty) seemed way too easy. I was so impressed I bought new filters for my wife's GS460 and our Toyota Tacoma 4.0 V6. Both have dramatic increases in power and fuel economy albeit, she's having problems with not stomping on it as well. Who ever came up with this idea for passenger vehicles kudos! Can you do the same thing for HVAC units? I want to feel the polar blast save energy and make my wife a human pop sickle! With GREAT admiration....
Fun fact, if you straight pipe your car, it gets better gas milage because backpressure is a marketing term and the only real thing keeping your car from flowing like it deserves is that muffler, and the paper air filter that comes with the car by default.
Who beats the EPA highway mileage claims? I DO! My Lexus LS 460L is rated 24 MPG highway. I replaced my stock filters (2) with 2 K&N filters (33-2381) immediately upon getting my new car. I get between 26 and 29 MPG at 70-80 MPH, that's 8.5% to 17% better mileage than the car is rated to get. Driving straight highway speeds in West Texas where the speed limit on the interstate is 80 MPH, I achieved nearly 30 MPG (maybe even traveling slightly over the limit...). At a steady 65MPH, I get nearly 30 MPG. The sound is great and I get great engine response from an already superior engine. I just cleaned my filters one year after installation - one year! I run K&N in all my family's cars and trucks.
Installed air filter in my new Avalon Hybrid. Our trip this summer to Seattle averaged 41 MPG going out from Mpls. MN & averaged 44 MPG on our return trip. It won't take long to pay for it with an MPG gain like that. I have used K&N in many vehicles in the past all with increases in MPG. Thank you for your products.
K&N in all of my cars. I cannot corroborate the horsepower claims but the cars seem more enthusiastic. I also feel they give a level of protection not seen in regular air filters.
