K&N filters are a must for me. I raced with them and never had an oil filter fail, or had an engine fail due to an oil filter. Now, I use K&N Filters in all my motor vehicles that take filters. I have confidence in them and know that my engines are filter-safe and are running at top performance.

This is a well made oil filter and I really appreciate the hex nut on the bottom of the filter. The way the Ducati designed the engine cases at the filter makes it very difficult to remove with a standard oil filter wrench.

Great product, like a lot the prelube. Easy to install and easy to take out. I use it on both of my Ducati bikes, Monster 696 and Multistrada 1000SDS.

Two key reasons I choose to use K&N oil filters on my car and my two motorcycles: 1) They flat work and 2) the hex-shaped boss on the bottom makes this the easiest filter to remove and install, period.

While Wal Mart offered me a great price on this item, it does not fit my motorcycle even though their fit chart says it should and I have used this same filter before with no problem. I contacted K&N customer service department to explain this problem. Their response was that their filters are made in different countries with different designs that should fit. Not true! Do not buy their filters as it may not fit.
