I only buy certain brands of oil filters. Wix, K%26N, and Mobile1 are all great options, only about $1 apart in price. I do use the K%26N air filters, they don't yield power, but gas mileage does improve.

There's on YouTube a video where this brand shows the highest capability of trapping the smallest aluminum particles. The comparison is interesting because shows many other known brands and, on top of that, K%26N is good to go for 20k miles. If you keep up with your oil changes you can do like I do, let it sit for 15k miles and then grab a new one. Specially in my case where my '05 Civic has a horizontal oil filter position, helping to increase the mess whenever the oil change is due.

First time I've tried this oil filter, my truck has a k%26n air filter that is reusable and very good. This oil filter came quickly, was an easy install and had the name to back up my decision on buying. I will buy this filter again for future oil changes on my truck.

the product wasn't bad itself, just the mail company and i don't know who else, treated the box really bad that the filter had bents and the package had s lot of damage but even with all that happened the filter had really good looks and seems to be good quality but had to return it
