5 Star Review

William January 30, 2019

I really like this intake. We installed this in about 20 minutes on my 2010 Corolla. It makes the car sound 10x better and when driven properly there is a noticeable efficiency increase in fuel MPG. I can't say it has added any horsepower because I don't have access to dyno tools but hey, the sound alone makes the car sound and feel a lot more powerful than the stock intake.

Jerame January 30, 2019

My father just bought his first new car in 15 years, a 2009 Toyota Corolla with a 1.8.   He loved his new car but said it needed a little something. I was thinking of getting him just a drop in K&N air filter but ended up buying the Typhoon intake system.  I asked him if I could take it for a little spin and swung by my house to install the kit.  I had it in and was back to his house in 45min. The install was extremely easy and could be done by anybody. This intake really woke the car up and I will never forget the smile on his face when he got a little tire in second gear. I would recommend this product for anyone looking to add a little spunk to their Corolla. Thanks K&N!

Addison July 15, 2019

So so so pleased with my purchase. I’m not much of a car guy, so I was apprehensive to install myself, but I followed the instructions which were very clearly laid out and got the intake set up with no issues. I don’t notice any difference in sound until I get to the ~3.5K RPM mark, then it sounds like I’m driving a completely different car. It’s girthy, open, and unrestricted. I’d highly recommend this product to anybody looking to improve their Corolla with a cost effective and easy to install tune.

I would by it again

Ty October 2, 2023

I have always used k&n filters In my cars so I decided to use the cold air intake. I'm use to the ones with the plastic tubs not the metal ones why the difference?

Check kit first

Kyle May 29, 2022

I get my kit and didn't check parts to make sure everything was in it, my bad trusting my purchase would include everything stated on the parts list. Had a bolt with NO threads and NO vacuum hose which after spending a couple hours on this was a shot to the groin.
