K'nex - Amusement Park In A Box

My 11 year old granddaughter loves to build things. She has over 1,000 legos so I thought this would be something different. She loves it.

My 7 year old loves this set so much! She enjoys following the instructions and figuring out what goes where. The set offers hours of fun and building. The instructions are easy to follow and the pieces easy to find. I would suggest after opening the bags that contain the pieces to use little sealable snack baggies for storage as your little builder works.

This is a great k'nex set. It helps the child's mind keep on working. This set also comes with 2 working motors to make the parts move. This set along with other sets can make so many different items, The possibilities are endless, and keeps the child thinking of different things to make and build

This K'NEX package is based on an amusement park theme. It's an engineering educational toy designed for ages 7 and older, and with 378 pieces of various shapes, sizes, and colors, there is lots to build from this box. With the instructions included, you can build a roller coaster, a ferris wheel, and a swing ride. Our children have other K'NEX products so this is another great addition. It does take some time to build which encourages and develops the child's patience. Without realizing, time goes by while they are having fun assembling all the pieces to make their amusement park. You can see the child use motor skills, hand to eye coordination, and dexterity to build the various models, which is what this building set is all about. There are other sets to purchase and differ in build models but all generally do the same thing, which is to enhance the child's ability from an early age to practice hand to eye coordination and introduce STEAM (science tech engineering art math). This set includes motors that make the amusement park come alive, which makes this special for the kids after spending time building. Overall, this six-flags-in-a-box set has been great fun for our kids. Highly recommend this set.

I thought building this amusement park would be something my eight year old grand daughter would enjoy, and we could do together. And I was right. We spent hours building the amusement park, and once we started, we couldn't stop until it was complete. The instructions were perfect, so easy to follow the pictures in the manual. We had to re-do a couple of places, but it was easy to detect the mistake, and fix it. We built the Farris Wheel first (per instruction), and we waited until we had everything lined up perfectly to test the motor. The motor that runs the Farris Wheel also runs the Merry Go Round. This motor requires 2 AA batteries (not included), and the Farris Wheel started turning the first try. We were so inspired and excited, we built the Merry go Round and attached to the Farris Wheel. They both worked flawlessly. The roller Coaster was the easiest to put together. The motor for this requires 3 AA batteries (not included), and that little motor is powerful. It was a little tricky to get the car around the track, and we figured out we had some re-do's before the car would make it. We fixed the track, and that little car moved around the track so fast! I have never owned any K'Nex products prior to this one. I am now inspired to purchase more for my grand kids. The amusement park works so well, and it really was hours of creative fun.

This is a great family activity. I had so much fun putting it together with my 8 year old. With very little help, he was able to stand up most of it. The car goes really fast and we loved it. Its made from decent quality plastic. Some parts feel delicate but after a week of almost daily playtime, they are still holding up fine. My son loved the ferris wheel the most. Instructions were clear. Because of the size of the structure, you need space to store it properly. It does take a while to put these structures together and you can only do one at a time as the parts are shared. This is a great fun activity. We take it down at-least once a week and then put it back together.

The K'NEX amusement park connecting set is fun a activity with a ton of pieces. My kids enjoyed building the amusement park but my 7 year old had a difficult time with some of the instructions as the pieces were hard to identify and had some issues connecting the pieces. This set definitely needs an adult to assist in building. There were a couple of pieces that they lost and we had to make due without it. I had hoped that it would come with extra pieces just in case but it didn't. It isn't the most sturdy set once the structure is completed. I had to stabilize it a few times when my kids were playing with the battery operated Ferris wheel and the rollercoaster. My kids enjoyed the building aspect and it made them feel proud that they build something that they are able to see move. My kids took it apart and are now using the pieces to freely build as they like. I like that it allowed my kids to be able to follow directions and keep their concentration. While also being able to have the flexibility to build as they choose.

The K'NEX Amusement Park In-A-Box - 378 Parts - Motorized Amusement Rides is good for memorization, math, and science. It helps kids to use their thinking skills in order to put the amusement park together. It takes a little time to put together but it's a fun family project. I would recommend this product to others.

The K'NEX Amusement Park In-A-Box set was pretty cool. I was excited to put this together with my 10 year old. From start to finish, it took us about 3.5 hours to put it together. My kid left about 30 mins in to go play with something else until I finished it by myself. This set comes with 378 pieces that were big but were mostly small pieces. The instructions were pretty well written and the illustrations were a BIG help when putting this together. I really like that each step shows you exactly what piece and how many of those pieces you will need for that particular step. This set includes a Ferris wheel and swing ride that actually work and swing/rotate both forward/backwards. This set also includes a roller coaster. There are also actual little seats and coaster cars that come included. I wish there were little people that came in this set because the seats are VERY small and no other toys can sit in them. We tried the little builder people but even they were too big. So you're just watching an empty amusement park the whole time. There are 2 battery powered motors that work like actual small car engines. The speed that the coaster car goes around the track is insane! Just make sure to keep fingers and hands away from the black spinning belt! This coaster was fun to build but now it just sits on the table not being played with and takes up a lot of space. I think if there were little people included, it would be played with even more.
