I definitely recommend KNEX as a learning tool . Even when my son was growing up, he learned with KNEX and he is 39 .

Such a variety of things that can be built with one kit, which makes it a no brainer choice to buy one kit and be able to build something new everyday :)

My son just got into K'NEX this year. They are great. Kids build with instructions then use their imagination to make new stuff

My grandson loves Knex and he loves this set. Well made brightly colored.

Fun and challenging to build
My children found these Knex harder to put together than Legos. Adult help was needed to follow instructions and build. The instructions for the bridge build was not included which is disappointing since this structure was shown on the box. I guess you have to go online to find these directions.
