The item is excellent. Ordering it online from Walmart was super easy. I did not need a Walmart account and they followed through on my order quickly and efficiently. This Kobo model has everything except stylus capability and I don't understand why anyone would want that anyway. The backlighting fo reading at night without a lamp is perfect.
Great screen, easy to use, very comfortable in the hand.
The contrast on the screen is very good, the battery lasts a lot. The only downside is that's a bit heavier than the Libra H20, but overall it's a great device.
This is my first e-reader so my opinion isn't worldly. Small, light, clear screen, easy paging, good storage, decent user interface. All around, I love it.
Happy to replace my 2013 Kindle with the Kobo Libra 2. I love that you can hold it in whatever position as I am left handed and the text will rotate accordingly.
Great product. Highly recommend. Really like that there are buttons as well as the touch screen for turning pages & it can store a lot more books than my older model.
Love my Kobo Libra 2. The backlighting works wonderfully. My old Kobo did not have this feature. I also like the page turning button--helps prevent fingerprint smears over the text. Very happy with this purchase!
Has trouble connecting all the time, have to restart. Book search is terrible unless you subscribe to there Plus thing. Hard to search for library books, which is mainly what I wanted for. Not worth $200. Should be like $50. Get a Nook or iPad instead.
I wish I could rate it 0/5. When anything on the screen changes, it leaves a slight afterimage unless you set the screen to refresh after every page. Their support is awful and wouldn't tell me if this was an artifact of the technology or a defective panel and just issued a replacement. By the time the replacement came and I realized it was just how the screen is, it was past the return policy since it took them 3 weeks to send a replacement.
the e-reader looks nice and started right up but you have to register the device to use it. you have to either sign in to your kobo account or sign up for an account. i tried to sign into my account and got the message that this service is temporarily unavailable please try again later. it has now been 5 days and still not able to sign in. my reader has now become a paperweight. i am probably going to send it back because i didn't pay almost $200 for an e-reader that can't be used.
