This product is a great way to get extra protein, the taste is delicious, they toast well, we have it with eggs like a breakfast sandwich, so we are getting more protein, this helps out for elderly picky eaters, that need extra protein. Very easy to make, I am happy with these waffles!
I have a tendency to not eat enough protein, so finding something like this has been a total game changer for me! I love the taste!! I do have to toast twice to get the crunch I like but to each their own. I now eat breakfast every day and it is because of Kodiak Protein Waffles!!!
I love these waffles, they’re great for a person with type 2 diabetes (like me)because they have so much protein in them so they digest slower. They are filling and taste good. They are a tiny bit gritty but I got used to that very quickly. They are also thicker than the other leading brand of frozen waffles.
This company makes the best waffles. I didn't rate them as a snack as I reserve these for breakfast. Find something else for your snack. These are my go-to for meals. For the perfect recipe: top with cream cheese and a dash of cinnamon. (My secret to you) Add cut up banana or berries to the side or on top.
These waffles are delicious. I usually have two for breakfast. I never thought about using it as a snack, but that's a great idea also. I toast well in a toaster , put butter and syrup on them. Yum but maybe I could toast them and put peanut butter on it as a snack. It's loaded with protein so you're not hungry in two hours.
I enjoy frozen Belgian waffles. You can do so much with them. Making them by scratch is messy and alot of work. I try to eat healthy so I buy the Protein Kodiak brand. Well, since they are primarily protein, they are very dry. But, if you 'doctor' them up with fruit AND a little of the fruit's juice and whipped cream, it helps. You can also just pour a little heavy whipping cream on the fruit. I use peanut butter and bananas, but, the PB and the dry texture can get stuck in your mouth. I still eat them this way and just wash them down. You just get use to them if you want to eat healthy. Get ideas off of GOOGLE different ways to serve them. I don't get into meat, gravy and waffles...but maybe you would enjoy it!
When I eat waffles or pancakes I eat them as is without syrup etc. I get these as way to eat something so I don't feel hungry. I like them as they are. I pop in microwave usually and eat. If you prefer more crispy then the toaster would be option. Or microwave for a few seconds and then finish off in toaster.
They kind of taste like cardboard but smell good. I am not a big fan they are kind of grainy and don't have the best taste. If your just looking for a replacement because you have nothing else because your diabetic or something go for this option, but personally I don't think they are worth the price or time to purchase.
This is offensive to waffles. I don’t know how these are rated so highly. There’s absolutely no taste. They are dry and crumbly. If you think these waffles are good, go eat a real waffle asap because you have obviously forgotten what good waffles taste like.
I tried toasting these while frozen %26 toasting them when completely thawed %26 their mealy, gritty texture is still there. Flavor is blaahhh. I love Kodiak mix but not their premade stuff.
