Having a new baby and working full-time, I've had to find ways to meet my protein goals and still cut corners to save time. In my opinion, these pancakes are delicious, nutritionally well balanced, very satisfying, and a quick way to get breakfast in in between getting my baby ready and running out the door every morning.
Tried these frozen Kodiak Protein-Packed Buttermilk Pancakes and turns out they are tasty! Like that they are made with healthier ingredients like whole-wheat flour. Box comes with 4 packages of 3 pancakes in each. Nice for a quick breakfast or lunch and handy to keep in the freezer. Will definitely buy them again.
The only frozen pancake made with whole-wheat flour that Walmart carries. Great 4 diabetics or ppl on keto or Atkins. Tastes decent. You get 4 packs with 3 pancakes in each pack. Decent buy. Yes, Walmart-brand frozen pancakes are much cheaper with a greater quantity but they are unhealthy trash. You and your fam are worth more.
No, it's not the best tasting flapjack I have had but it is certainly the healthiest. I like to keep this on hand when I want a quick breakfast. I do enjoy the taste and, like all microwave flapjakes, it is a little chewy but only a little.
In addition to being healthier, these are 6- and 2-year-old approved! My family loves these microwaved 30ish seconds on each side (flip 1-2 times) to get them nice and soft! We either slather them with some sun butter and roll them up to eat while on-the-go, or top them with whipped cream and berries to eat like traditional pancakes. Microwaving them gives them the pancake consistency we are looking for (toasting them made them a bit too crispy for my picky little ones) and they taste just like the less-healthy versions! We LOVE these - thank you Kodiak!
What can I say? I don't generally like frozen food but these are great pancakes and they're filling. I love them. I love them.
Meh. I mean I realized frozen pancakes wouldn't be as good as freshly made ones but my kids did not love these. I wanted the protein and speed of preparation; but if they do not want to eat them it's a waste. (Note: my kids are picky.)
It depends on if you like light and fluffy or heavy and dense. These are heavy and dense and chewy.
They've shrunk the pancakes and they weren't very thick before. Have enjoyed for a number of years but won't buy any more.
I don't know what it is about them but they have some sort of a artificial taste almost like an overwhelming fake vanilla taste perhaps? Either way-not for me. Chucked them in the garbage… no I will not buy these again
