It's actually a great unit. The pad comes off of the perch n is machine washable. It was a little shorter than I wanted. Instead of returning it, I donated to an elderly gentleman who so wanted it. He is in heaven as well as his kitty.

Love this raised cat bed. This is the 3rd one that I have owned. It holds up well over time. The padded bed part can be removed, machine washed and dried. The platform is the perfect height for my cat to look out the window. It must be comfortable for sleeping because he sleeps in it ALL the time.

Often Boo Boo Kitty comes into the living room and looks for a place to crash. When he saw this bed he sniffed, scratched, and circled. Soon he was laying in it, obviously enjoying his fluffy perch. This is a well made piece of furniture that's sturdy and easy to put together. You have to pay more to get more, and I did.

Cats love it. I love that I can remove the top and wash it. This is my second one.

5 star even though I couldn't get one of the screws in. It's sturdy enough with just 3 anyway. It got here early and our cat loves it! Perfect for in front of a window.

It's a good sturdy bed. They sent the wrong size Allen wrench but otherwise it was good.
