I just switched from a 30 amp, to a 50 amp....and this thing is awesome! I usually spend $200 or more for RV surge protection. DON'T DO IT.....for a fraction of the price, I bought this Kohree 50 Amp RV surge protector and it works just as well. And "yes" it has seen thunder and lighting.

Being an older lady traveling solo, safety and ease of use are my top priorities. The ergonomic pull handle on this yellow surge protector is wonderfully designed, allowing me to disconnect from tight power boxes without straining.
Clear LEDs and a fantastic waterproof lid make this a winner. I was initially worried about the bulkiness, but the right angle profile actually saves space at the power pole. It is a well-engineered piece of essential camping safety gear.
Works phenomenally well at older campsites. We rolled into a state park late at night, plugged this in, and it immediately flagged an open ground. We got the park ranger to move us, preventing potential disaster.
