Order arrived on time. It was packaged well. Product is nice overall. The one week pount is the door latch is weak. I will certainly have to make some repairs before using it much.

It would have been great, if the wheel barrier would have lined up, could have been the manufactured defect or was not packed properly.

It was extremely difficult to put together, and in fact it is still not properly assembled. The holes would not lineup correctly so we could not even finish putting it together.

The metal pieces don't line up to properly put it together. I've purchased two and the same issue with both

I believe the assembled spreader will do everything as noted and due to the thickness of mesh should last for an extended period. Assembly was the issue. Small print states "instructions and hardware not included". No where does it warn the heavy paint clogs the bolt holes making it difficult to even start the bolts. Nor does it state you must "mold" the screens to fit properly in order to connect the 3 inside the "wheels" to complete the drum assembly. One requires time and patience to mold/bend the screens...It's a trial and error experience. I've spent more time than what seems necessary in order to accomplish this task, plus a trip to the local hardware store. If having to do over, I would spend the extra necessary to purchase one at the local hardware store already and completely assembled. My suggestion, if it's your one time or once a year plan to spread peat moss on your yard then it makes sense to simply rent one. They are inexpensive to rent.

The biggest problem is that the door piece is not long enough to clamp down the latch to keep it closed. Plus it is extremely difficult to put together. There are no instructions but the biggest problem is that the sides don't come bent at the correct curve and the screws are not pointed so it is very hard to get the sides bent the perfect amount so the screws will actually catch the grooves so you can start it twisting down and get the screw in.
