The orientation of the "feet" can be changed from parallel to perpendicular if you need to change it that way depending on the joists of your ceiling. I used this rack without the extension arms to keep the height as manageable as possible, as well. The item has a lot of degrees of adaptability. Once assembled it's served me well. And then I have purchased additional hooks to hang other things from the bottom of the rack such as a steam mop, my Ego leaf blower, various things. Everything that would have been littering the garage floor is not packed up on the rack.

Great overhead garage storage rack. Easy to install and fits about 10 medium sized stacked boxes.

It was very hard to put together, the instructions not very clear or helpful, and the actual item came with parts that were confusing.

Directions are poor images are poor. Inside bolt pattern don't line up to fasten panels together. I Opened box and assembled partially too late for a return.

Good morning I'm writing this review because I'm mainly disappointed in the overall transaction now I have yet experience the actual product because when purchasing this product I pay extra through Walmart for Angie to do professional services now this product is a overhang shelving in the garage which I would use for extra storage I paid a nice penny extra to do the job during some time that I can schedule working around my work schedule the pro or professional they would like to call from Angie failed to do the services. I reached out to Walmart/Angie and nobody is on the same page. It's very flimsy not sturdy. It shows that it will hold up to 550 pounds I wasn't gonna put that much weight on there was just gonna be some sporting equipment backpacks Eddie Bauer camping gear just so wouldn't be touching the floor but that product alone it's just cheap not worth it. I understand why the price is what it is. The Angie installment was more than the actual product and I'm learning that now now do I still want this installed because I paid for it in Walmart doesn't wanna give me a refund for the Angeles side of things so I have to go forward and I'm just disappointed. I believe the planning for using this item has value. I have yet experience the true meaning of this product.

The bolts that were included did not properly fit into the holes. I purchased replacement bolts at Home Depot and made it work, but this cost another $20 and a lot of time.
