The foam edge protector definitely is comfy. When taking care of my cats dishes invariably I accidently bump my head on the granite kitchen counter. The foam protector softens my bumping and does not detract from the granite counter. My cats are happy to not hearing me say, "Ouch!".

This is good stuff, it cushions well and cuts and applies easily. I am using it primarily to cushion areas where I stub my toes or have been cut by sharp metal edges and it does the job well. It includes more than enough double sided mounting tape to apply on both inner surfaces of the entire roll. Fairly hard rubbing did not loosen it up from the surfaces I put it on. If you are not experienced in installing this sort of stuff it would pay you to practice cutting meeting edges and be more careful than me when applying it if you wish for a nice appearance, don't mistake my photos for a careful application as it very much was not, I worked in a hap-hazard rush and just slapped it on.

This edge guard worked well for me. I needed it on the edge of my desk where I use my mouse where it was digging into my wrist. This fixed it. Easy to apply. I recommend this product.

We used this product to protect the edges of our tile front steps for a move because we were worried the movers would damage the edges. It really worked. We didn't use the tape that came with it, we used duct tape instead and that worked great.
