Excellent Ice Pack — Stays Frozen for Hours The Kona Blue Ice Pack for coolers is fantastic. It was very easy to fill using the clear directions provided, and it froze solid quickly. I used it in my cloth tote‑style cooler and left it in overnight. The next morning, it was still frozen hard and kept everything perfectly chilled. Highly recommend — A product!

Better than ice
I use these packs in a cooler for camping. It says they replace 7lbs of crushed ice per ice pack. I used 5 in a large cooler along with one seven pound bag of ice. The cooler was not a nice sealed one. I did leave it in the shade and it was probably only around 70 degrees. After two days there was still about half of the ice left in the bottom of the cooler. They work.
