Koolscapes Dual Chamber Tumbling Composter 42 Gal (160L), Black

After 8 years of fighting with a messy compost heap in our yard, we decided to clean up. Ships small, quick assembly, and nice size. Very heavy and a bit of elbow grease is required to turn it when it's full of compost, but it makes the composting process easier! Recommend!

The assembly process was more tedious than difficult, but my husband did a great job! I think more rain gets in than we expected from those tiny openings, but it turns well and holds a lot of kitchen scraps, balanced with leaves and twigs. Read the compost maling info carefully.

Easy to assemble, lot of bolts and nuts, spins easy no problems ,should work well.

I didnt assemble it as a two chamber but the construction was easy, it was affordable and my mulch is stewing away!

It was fairly easy to assemble and seems pretty sturdy. It looks a little small for 42 Gal.

I'm very pleased with this composter. It is sturdy and well made. I like the dual composting feature. I was originally looking for one with a handle but rotating the bin by hand is not a problem. Take note that the openings are a little small. It is not a problem for dumping in the kitchen scraps that I do each day but not big enough to fit the shovel when I put in leaves/pinestraw--I do more of a pour in with the shovel and most goes in. I am still happy with the composter but this is the reason for the 4 stars. Assembly: It took me a lot longer than the 30 minutes stated but I like putting things together so not a problem for me. There are 56 screws to put all the panels together. It was easy enough but time consuming. Tip: do the barrel assembly on a raised surface not the ground. I started on the ground and moved to the kitchen island because bending over was killing me and slowing the process. The center divider did not fit tightly in the slot--otherwise everything seemed solid. I would buy this product again as long as the center divider stays in place. The quality is good for the price.
