Regarding the previous comment...we have visited this winery and their Champagne is made in Le methode champenoise thus giving it the status of "Champagne." Grandfathered in or not there was a reason and that is because it is made in the proper method. Their entire family of CHAMPAGNES have incredible tasting notes...AMAZING!!! Highly Recommend!!!
I love champagne. I've always loved Korbel. I feel it's priced right for any type of situation from a nice wedding to a date night or a group of friends hanging out. It has just enough carbonation and a great flavor. Perfect for mixing with anything from orange juice to anything that a person can come up with. High recommendations on this champagne
Korbel Extra Dry is a crisp, semi-dry Californian sparkling wine that is light and refreshing-one of my favorites and an excellent choice for family celebrations.
what can I say if I'm going to have a sparkling wine I want it to be oh so very dry! The dryer the better in my book. My favorite wine of course is Chardonnay and the fact that they make a dry sparkling Chardonnay hits all the bells and whistles for me! you can't get much better than perfect. awesome job korbel Great product!
My family's go-to champagne. We always keep a bottle or two of it on hard. Its great alone, and mixed to make mimosas. I easy finish a bottle on my own, then take the best naps ever. My family has personal ties to the vineyard, and I will continue to buy as well as recommend.
Korbel Extra Dry California Champagne is my FAVORITE champagne 🥂 🍾 . The 1st time I tried this was 33 years ago when I 1st became engaged. It was a gift. It is definitely not too sweet. It's light. Perfect alone for toasting on that special occasion or mixed to enjoy a Mimosa. Either way its enjoyed tremendously.
I'm going to go ahead and give this 5 stars. It's quite affordable, so it's easy to have on hand. It has a slightly citrusy flavor with definite melon undertones. I don't like very sweet champagne, and this one isn't too sweet. It's definitely worth more than the extremely affordable price. I especially like to drink it with seafood or shrimp.
I love using this champagne to make mimosas! It is a good quality champagne for the price. The extra dry is not too dry but not sweet. I also like drinking this champagne without adding any juice. I buy it often and definitely will continue to buy it.
A little extra bubbly so could hurt your stomach and give a headache on its own but I usually like mixing with mimosas. Love having this with brunch
This is not Champagne, this is sparkling wine. Real Champagne is made in the Champagne region, in France, according to the “méthode champenoise”. It is actually illegal to call sparkling wine from California “Champagne”, but this company and a couple others benefit from a loophole that allows them to call their sparkling wine “California Champagne”. This is against the law and international treaties, but because of a grandfathered clause in the law passed a couple decades ago, Korbel won't face any consequences. Also, real Champagne will never be this cheap, so if this looks top good to be true, thats because it is. It might be a decent sparkling wine, but since the company is using a deceving name to make fools believe they are getting a great deal, this is worth 1 star in my opinion.
