I love these headphones because they are not tight on my head. I use them to listen to non-music YouTube videos. The should is fine for that. They are light weight and they fold up for nicely for traveling.
Pretty good headphones, fit comfortably on the head. No knob on the cord to adjust volume and after approx 2 hours of use the ears become a little heated (just need to take them off for a min or two and u can wear them again). Very compact and stylish.
These work great for a great price.
I have owned the UR15 headphones for about 15 years and the left earphone is beginning to cut out. Any headphones that last that long are worth buying again. But they've been discontinued and replaced with this UR18 model. The differences are: - The new ones are gray instead of black. - The new ones fold up - The new ones are hard and uncomfortable. I don't care what color they are or what they look like so I have no opinion on the gray color. I care about comfort. I hope that they will break in because they are much less comfortable than my old ones. I will surely glue the joints open with epoxy. They drive me crazy. You take them off and set them down on the desk and they twist and collapse and pinch your fingers and then you have an awkward chore of "expanding" them to put them back on again. There is NO benefit or purpose to this. If I want them to be portable, I'll use earbuds. I want them to be comfortable and usable. This is such a hassle that it is the sole reason I have not rated it five stars. The device is otherwise up to standard. The sound is good. The sound barrier cushions wrap all the way around my ears and don't shift on my head. The cord is long enough for anything. It has a split in the cord so that wires go up to the individual earphones instead of just up one side. This means that the cord is coerced to hang in front of my chest (equidistant from each ear) rather than directly below one ear, getting twisted up in my armpit. This is good. The head band is split and wide. This is nice because it keeps the headphones from shifting on your head, but it's not the strap variety which means that if my head itches, I can actually scratch it. This is a formula for all-day use. It does not pull your hair. I only use these on the computer so I cannot speak about their power consumption. If you are using these with your phone or tablet, consider earbuds for battery longevity.
Ear phones are relatively comfortable. Quality is certainly adequate for general use. Probably could find better for a much higher price.
Bought two of these headphones for our computers at home, for music/YouTube video watching. Very comfortable on the head/ears, the stereo pickup for computer use is very good. Koss makes decent headphones that fit on your head without squeezing or pulling hair, and rest very nicely on your ears. Not a fan of those plugs for mp3 players, they always fall out, and eew! ear wax gets on them. My only con (mild) is Koss went cheap adding a straight on plug rather than the previous right angle plug that worked well as your thumb pushed it into your speakers/mp3 player, I have to line it up and hold with other hand to make sure plug goes in straight now. - otherwise good value for the money
Good volume. The cord is extremely long and thin, doesn't seem. durable. Only been using a week so far.
I liked these and did use them for a while, but the length of the cord makes it impractical for walking around, listening to music. The cord is very long. I did try looping it up and fastening it with flexible ties...the kind that come with small household garbage bags, but after a while, I just replaced them with a different pair.
