Koss Sb45 Communication Stereophones (pack of 1 Ea)

Purchased these to replace a popular gaming brand name set. The first set broke and was replaced via warranty, second set broke within months, warranty no good for 2nd set. Got these Koss because lifetime warranty, they seem better built and actually sound way better, mic works way better too. All this and half the cost of original set. Its the way to go, I've always been a fan of Koss.

These are true "around the ear" headphones, which are very hard to find! The mic concerned me a bit at first, it's not a very bendable arm, so I wasn't sure if the sound pickup was going to be adequate - don't worry! Best mic I've ever owned, and that includes the very expensive desktop mic I got these to replace. I use voice to type constantly, and this is the first mic that consistently catches every word. You can't beat these for comfort or function, and definitely not for price!

These have been reviewed on eham.net for ham radio use and got good reviews. They will not work with Heil adapter cables, even the IC cable, since Heil grounds the inner stereo pin, thereby grounding the microphone output. You will have to make an adapter floating the inner stereo pin, to go between the SB45 and the Heil adapter. Once that is done it works fine. I use it with an ICOM IC-7300 transceiver, which requires an electret microphone to get enough audio. The sound is good and the price is right. 73, W4JKL

I've had these for about a two weeks and I love them!! So far, they sound great for Skype, Audacity, etc. They're just as good as the Microsoft - LifeChat LX-3000. My friends can't tell the difference between either headset (this pair is for home, the LifeChat for my boyfriend's place). Noise-canceling is wonderful, too! No one can hear the 'click-clack' of my keyboard anymore! Definitely recommend if you're a gamer, looking into online voice-acting, skype-chatting, whatever your heart desires. Hope this helps!!

I got this headset for my husband who plays World of Warcraft (uses it for vent chat). We have gone through many headsets from other manufacturers because the mic's on them were junk or they were very uncomfortable after long periods of time. This Headset (per my husband) is really comfortable, has excellent sound quality and has an awesome mic. It also cancels out a lot of background noise. AKA: I can be on the phone and he can hear his game. The best part is he thinks I spent a lot more on this headset than I did. =) It also has a Lifetime guarantee! I highly recommend this product for anyone that plays a lot of PC games.

Koss is a very good brand for the price. I am not disappointed at all. The headset fits very comfortably on the head(and I have a large head) and around the ears, cancelling out a lot of background noise. The headset folds up neatly to store. This is a very nice headset to listen to music to and play games. The microphone works really well(Works great in Ventrilo and Skype). Cons: There is no microphone mute or volume control on the headset or cord.

These headphones were bought as a replacement to some I bought a few years ago. They have a nice sound to them and the upside to my old ones is these ones actually go around my whole ear, rather than part of them, so that's a plus. The mic however is on a flimsy rubber arm that shakes everytime I move my head, so that worries me it'll break off. Hasn't happened yet though. Also while they sound nicer, the volume appears quieter than my old ones, as I've had to raise the volume on my PC I've had set for a long time. Great for the price, but if you have enough cash try to get a better pair. But if you don't wanna spend a lot, these are the best for this price range.

its a very decent headset, kinda uncomfortable at first but some minor adjusting and it should be fine. I had one of these before for about 3 years before i accidentally broke it. Its decently tough as it took alot of abuse to actually break. *cough cough* unlike some other brand headset i bought before this.

Tone quality is better than I expected. Only problem is the ear cups might be a bit deeper. Tends to become a little uncomfortable after an extended period of time. Good equipment for the money!

I purchased this because of all the good reviews. The sound is very good. The headset becomes extremely uncomfortable after a short period of time. The ear pieces are too shallow & the part that goes over your head is not flexible enough.
