These used to be the best of the best, but your worst fears are true - the update has made them appallingly bad. Not only are these much rougher than they used to be but they're less absorbant now too, only absorbing about as much as an everyday panty liner. They've also slightly changed the shape and have made them comically wide. They're nearly 3 full inches wider than they used to be. Not longer, wider.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been an always buyer for a long time. I am now a reformed Kotex lover. From the packaging to the ease of applying. To the Wear of the pad. I normally have heavy flows thanks to Mother Nature they are light. This regular wingless pad was easy to apply throughout the day. It felts great on and I noticed no bulk-age. I recommend this for any teen or woman looking for something easy to use and wear with functionality.

"New and improved" product gave me a rash, and I felt like I had a piece of abrasive cardboard in my underwear all day. So uncomfortable. I've used Kotex for decades, but I'll be switching brands.

It appears these pads have replaced the original plusher Regular U Kotex pads I always used. I tried these at my doctor's %26 really like them. Not as plush %26 yes, it has a plastic-feel backing but easily rolls up for disposal. They absorb moisture great. Highly recommend trying them.

These pads suck!!!!! Completely ruined a good product! They are thick and dont bend or roll up to dispose. they feel like plastic!!!! Bring back the previous product! Pads are soo scratchy, the new material sucks!!!! I have been a kotex girl for years, but will definitely be looking for an alternative once I finish up these abnoxious pads! Don't even get me started on the bright packaging!!!!!

I have used kotex ever since I was a teen. Now 50. I hate these new pads. I hate that they keep changing what works. They bunch up too easy when worn, they leak worse than ever. They stick to the sides of my inner area. I like the old style, they were way more comfortable and soft. I never had trouble with leaks. Now I have to double up and it makes them even more uncomfortable. They are awful. Looking for a new brand to wear….

Be warned. I have used these for years and never had an issue until the new improved version came out. Bought the first pack back in May and have had 3 yeast infections before realizing it was the pads that I was having a reaction to. Bummed bc I loved these up until now.

DID NOT RECEIVE MY ORDER OF KOTEX. NOT TOO SURE WHAT TO DO ABOUT ..GUUSS I JUST HAVE TO LOSE OUT ON THE MONEY I SPENT FOR IT. TOO BAD I WILL HAVE TO ORDER IT ELSEWHERE.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This new design is HORRIBLE. These pads are no longer “thin”!! I loved the original design. I absolutely hate these.

I wouldn't say these don't show through undergarments, these are not to be used as if they were poise. But they also are more than enough for light leaks. The top layer did a wonderful job of making me feel dry and clean. I am post-menopause and used them for a surprise unpredictable flow that was later determined to be caused by polyps that were painlessly removed. The flow ranged from extremely light, to very heavy and these held up well and I felt clean.
