This is a small solar powered fountain with a battery. In a sunny pond or barrel it will work during the day and then a few extra hours at night. I haven't had as great an experience as my barrels are heavily planted, but this works on and off during the day and adds a little aeration. The sound of moving water is soothing and this device is an affordable way to add a water feature to any pool of water. I will caution that with the straws usually included to keep the floating fountain centered, it is powerful enough to drain your barrel several inches if it floats near the edge. Ease of installation- simply peel film off solar panels, plug in your desired fountainhead and plunge in a pool of water. Looks- from the side it's great. It looks best in a container with high sides, the lighting can be fun at night. But you'll only get night lights if it is in a sunny location and the battery can charge. Price- fair enough for an easy solution you can plunk down without thinking of outlets. This will struggle during the winter in most places, but during the summer can help keep plants happy. In a bird bath it tends to attract the humming birds.

First and foremost I received this as a free item. The fountain was delivered well packaged and undamaged. Easy to understand instructions if you need them. Easy to put together. several different attachments and as you can see from the photos that it actually does work at night with the leds. I actually put it in the bird bath at 9:00 at night right out of the box and it was at full power. The pump is pretty heavy duty. The whole thing seems very solid. There is a little sensor on the bottom of the electrical housing that detects whether there is water or not. That's a great feature to have so if the water goes out the pump doesn't burn up. I definitely would purchase this if I had to. I really think this is a great little fountain. I'm sure the birds and other critters that share that bath are going to enjoy it. This was to replace my basic solar fountain that didn't work at night. I really wish I could post at least a couple second video. That would really sell you on this!

I'm absolutely delighted with this solar fountain with lights! The assembly took maybe a minute, super easy to put together. I'm very pleased with the overall quality and weight of this fountain, it's a good one! As soon as it was put together it worked right away! The lights started right up ~ I was so excited that I put it in a bowl of water to test out the one spray pattern that came with it %26 it worked beautifully!! It's now outside in my makeshift birdbath %26 It's working flawlessly! I'm going to be doing multiple water stations for my backyard buddies %26 this is the fountain I'll be purchasing. I'm so glad I waited for this one. Highly recommended based on the quality %26 value!

Solar charging has come a long way, and this fountain spray works immediately in full sun as well as shade in daylight. The lights come on at night so this fountain saves the daytine charging for nighttime usage. I like to make sure the birds have fresh water and one of the best ways to keep water fresh is to use a fountain like this one. Because of the solar charging, there is nothing to plug in. It floats on top of water if it is deeper, but it functions just as well in shallower bowls if it sits on or touches the bottom. Right now, it has been close to 100 degrees every day where I live with no rain, so the birds and lizards really appreciate the help, and this fountain makes it easier to maintain. The photos show this in a glass container so you can see how the pump can float. I like included variety of fountain attachments that come with it so you can custom make your own displays.

This is a great little solar foundation with many different fountain heads and different color led lights at night. Even works in cloudy conditions. Comes with water filter, and quiet operation.

This birdbath fountain was easy to put together. With lots of choices on nozzle styles. Lights up well and shoots up about 4 inches. Great for a bird bath. The only worrisome aspect of its design was that some of the clear plastic seal on top hung over the edge a tiny bit. Do not know if this could cause a future problem or not. All in all it is a darling item for my birds and I really like that it lights up at night. Started pumping as soon as it was placed in the water in the day. This will be a big help to the birds here. It is lovely and the price was reasonable.

The mini fountain is ok, most of the interchangeable tip are similar so each looks kinda the same the plain gurgling tip is the nicest. It arrived pre charged so I was able to add it to my pool as soon as I got it. You can barely hear the trickle from it in both my pool and in a bucket of water I put it into. It may be ok for a really small bird bath it has no way from keeping it moving around. The lights are in the center of it and are not to bright.
