Kraft Deli Deluxe American Cheese Slices, 16 oz Pack, 24 Slices

Please read - sorry for long post! As a lover of American cheese, Kraft had offered them in individually wrapped slices. Having tried other brands, none were good. I had never considered them being offered any other way. The day I saw the Deli Deluxe packaging…. In the cart it went! It is so much better! There isn't a film in it so the slice will come out of the wrapping easily. It melts wonderfully, and the consistency is wonderful! And an even bigger plus is that it's available in White American as well! Perfect for special sandwiches with may have a different type of white cheese (not a fan). And the packaging is easily re-sealable! But truly, it's full crisis mode if burgers are being grilled and I've run out or don't have enough slices. That's a trip to the store and cooking the burgers will have to wait! It melts wonderfully on breakfast sandwiches! I'm actually going to look for recipes which call for American cheese, because Kraft Deli Deluxe is the best! Oh! Kraft even thought about how to access the individual slices, so each slice is slightly off center, so easy! No need for wasted paper between each slice. I try to have a package of the regular American and the white American in my deli drawer!

This is hands down the best cheese you can buy in the dairy department. It tastes exactly like real deli cheese, but you get to completely skip the wait at the counter. I love that it doesn't have that annoying plastic wrap on each individual piece, and best of all, the slices never stick together! It is incredibly convenient, high quality, and delicious.

I love cheese especially Gourmet cheese, but when you want a cheese that melts on burgers or fries, American cheese is the Best! This is my favorite! Also my go to for simple ham %26 cheese. Love to add it on fried eggs. I fry the eggs then when almost done I add a slice of tomato then top with kraft deli deluxe American cheese. Sometimes I skip the tomato.. but never the cheese.

We order a lot of groceries for delivery. We used to buy deli fresh sliced cheese but the consistency in the thickness of thr slices varied so often that I searched for an alternate option when ordering delivery. These are amazing and taste just like they were sliced fresh from the deli. This melts perfectly on a burger or in a grilled cheese. It is consistently fresh. Great flavor! I highly recommend trying. Affordable on a family budget.

READ the labels. This Kraft doesn't state "cheese food," it's real cheese. Melts better on burgers or in omelets, individually wrapped, wrapers easy to peel off. We've used this version of American Cheest for over ten years. We avoid all cheeses that state 'cheese food' on their labels.

This has been one of my favorite cheeses for most of my life. I love sandwiches and this is the cheese I put on them, regardless of what else is on them. I really love the grilled cheese sandwich more than most others. This goes well with many other types of meals too.

Everyone in our house agrees this is the best American cheese for just about everything (forget those individually wrapped slices - they melt TOO MUCH easier and often turn to an orange watery ick). These slices melt fast without turning to an oily / watery mess (unless you get carried away). I am thrilled to see that not only do the Walmarts in my area (I'm blessed with 3 inside 3.5 miles) but they are also the best priced.

It has a completely different taste than the individually wrapped. I can't explain it, but it is absolutely true and tastes so much better. If I have ever bought the individually wrapped Deli Deluxe Cheese, it was by accident on my part or the shopper's part, as I do know how it tastes. I love to make grilled cheese sandwiches and thin cut cold cut sandwiches with this cheese. In fact, I love to just eat a slice as a snack when Walmart is out of the cheese sticks that I love so much, as well. It does have a salty taste to it, so that's not good for me, but what is? Make it make sense again! (: I love it! The White American Deli Deluxe is delicious, also!!

I prefer this ‘cheese' (even tho it's really difficult to get the first slices out of the package compared to previously) to those nasty gooey individually wrapped totally fake gummy cheese slices. But the flavor has definitely changed as the price has increased. This also doesn't melt as readily as before, when making grilled cheese sandwiches - unless you want burnt bread - or melt the ‘cheese' in the microwave before toasting 🙄 Oh! to go back to pre-covid products!

Item arrived with torn package and black specs on the cheese. It looks as though the tear was from a cut did not notice it when I put the cheese away from being delivered only noticed when I went to open the cheese and the package is slit, and the cheese is contaminated.
