I don't like the price, but you can't beat the taste and quality. To get any better taste or quality, you'd have to buy a chunk of actual parmesan cheese and grate it yourself (Now THAT'S Making America Grate Again). (Sorry) I've used the off/generic brands and most of them taste flat. With Kraft, you can actually taste the difference (even if you don't have the most sensitive taste buds). You'll probably find that you use less of this cheese than you do with the generic brands and that's because you're not dumping half a jar of it on your food just to get the flavor. Actually, I still dump a ton of it on my spaghetti 'cause I love Parmesan cheese (but not enough to buy the real stuff). So buy with confidence (even if you do need to take out a second mortgage to afford it).
When making spaghetti sauce from scratch I will cheat and put lots of this in it. Makes a huge difference and my sauce is delicious! I will put some fresh parm on the side if anyone wants any. I will also toss some on my salads after adding my homemade vinaigrette, again delicious! If I used fresh for all of these things it would cost a fortune. Also great for meatballs.
This is the perfect size because it lasts so long. Also, I reuse the shakers for flour, corn meal, powdered sugar, sprinkles, and it doesn't go to the landfill.
Kraft's Grated Parmesan Cheese is delicious. My family loves cheese and this is a favorite. Great on hot meatball sandwiches. Or sprinkle on a tossed salad.
The size of the jar is great not having to keep buying smaller sizes to get what you need! The flavor has worked anything I have put it on! And it's still fresh after I take it out of the refrigerator using it time after time!
Behold the legendary yellow cylinder of culinary power: Kraft Grated Parmesan Cheese Shaker. This is not merely cheese — this is the final boss upgrade for anything remotely edible. One twist of the cap and a snowstorm of savory glory rains down. Spaghetti becomes a five-star trattoria masterpiece. Frozen pizza ascends to divine status. Sad microwave noodles? Instantly reborn as a dish worthy of applause. The texture is impossibly consistent — no clumps, no drama, just pure, dependable parmesan energy. The flavor hits with bold salty umami that says, “Yes, you deserve greatness today.” It’s the pantry MVP, the midnight snack hero, the silent guardian of flavor. And the shaker design? Engineering excellence. Perfect pour, controlled chaos, endless sprinkling power. You don’t just add cheese — you declare victory.
I’m not a brand name snob, but there are a few things that I simply refuse to buy generic… and this is one of them! While I often use freshly grated parm for a lot of my home cooked meals, sometimes you just need the comfort of Kraft Parm being sprinkled onto your plate. Takes me back to so many wonderful childhood memories of dinners around the table, and Mama passing the green bottle of cheese …
We go through a *ton* of parmesan cheese (yes, we eat too much pasta) and Kraft's parmesan is perfect...always fresh, no lumps that can't be broken up by shaking the jar, great taste, and almost always doesn't expire for 6 months. We leave our parmesan in the cupboard after breaking the seal because we go through it so fast, but if you think you will have an open jar for more than a couple weeks, refrigerate it! It will get a nasty, "unfresh" taste if you don't. The only downside to this cheese is the price! It's more expensive than sirloin! This may not be an issue for you if you don't buy it often.
Of course its not real parmesan , do you know how expensive that would be .For the price you can’t go wtong with kraft products.I highly recommend this product cause of the taste and quality of the mfg. good for spaghetti and try this in your chili for an excellent flavor too!!!
I love grated Parmesan. In addition to Italian foods, I sprinkle it on my sunny side up and scrambled eggs. Delicious on grilled potatoes and veggies. It’s my go to item for a little extra flavor.
