Kraft Natural Grated Parmesan Cheese Shaker, 8 oz Bottle

Shaky Cheese, as we called it in my house growing up. Is there any dish this doesn't improve? Kraft makes an excellent shaky cheese and Wal-Mart has it at a great price.

It arrived in perfect condition

This is a very good product for putting on spaghetti or lasagne, the private party who sold it had a mark up price on it, it could have been bought at Wakmart cheaper.

Sometime fresh parmesian is good, but sometimes we like using this. I even combine the two in many recipies. Not too strong, but still adds a lot food flavor. Italian dishes like spaghetti, lasagna, pasta salads, you can't go wrong. This product is consistant in texture and taste. I really appreciate that. This is nice to have around to change it up and keeps well in the refrigerator.

This like most of the these cheeses contains cellulose powder. It is used as a filler So the manufactures can put less of the actual product you’re paying for in the bottle. This filler is ground up wood! Some manufactures vary on the size of the particles there are actually some manufactures you can see Ashley chunks of wood craft uses a very very fine ground up wood so you don’t notice it as much. Yuck

Did they change the recipe? This taste like plastic. Smells like plastic too. I have bought this brand forever and my most recent one smells and tastes like plastic

It’s better to get the grated Parmesan in the refrigerated containers because those only have Parmesan. This has cellulose powder which is refined wood pulp. It also doesn’t say how much wood pulp is in the container.
