Yes, it’s processed. Yes, cheese snobs call it “plastic.” But these 32 individually wrapped slices are the undisputed kings of meltability. Burgers? Perfect gooey drape. Grilled cheese? Golden, stretchy perfection that makes kids (and adults) happy. Cold on a sandwich? Creamy and nostalgic. The twin pack means no running out mid-BBQ, and the wrappers peel easy (most days). No weird aftertaste—just reliable, salty, melty joy. Downside: You’ll eat one straight from the fridge and question nothing.
bought bought the Kraft brand to compare against the Great value cheese slices at request to my son. he was correct The Kraft is a better quality product. it melts better for a grilled cheese sandwich. it's richer in flavor. Worth extra cost. I was surprised because I thought they would be equal but the Kraft is superior product.
Kraft cheese was a delicacy in my childhood. We would get a large pack, 72 pieces a month. We had a large family and money was very tight. We couldn't wait to get some Kraft cheese. It makes the best grilled cheese, sandwiches or just eat alone. Great snack. Quality product.
My husband recently underwent surgery and was on a restricted diet. To enhance his tomato soup with extra flavor, protein, and calories, I added this cheese — and it melted effortlessly, which was a wonderful bonus. Of course, it's also perfect for elevating sandwiches.
I don't think you can have a proper grilled cheese sandwich without these. I've tried them all, well, relatively. I guess that means that I've tried a lot of them and it's better than the regular cheese that is cheese and the other brands of American cheese food. they're great with turkey and I usually make them on White bread unless I've got some real special bread that's good for grilled cheese because it's pretty much the same as the grilled cheese except there's turkey on top of it too. imagine having bacon turkey and the cheese grilled to perfection with some Fritos. it's either Fritos or some tomato soup what about both.
Classic Grilled Cheese For The WIN!!! Doesn't matter that I can make the fanciest grilled cheese, every so often I have got to have The Classic on my plates!! Dripping with gooey, slightly orange (as it should be for these) American Cheese, when you take that first perfectly toasted bite - 10/10 totally would do this again and probably will be made to do so in vast quantities, hence the gigantic box of "cheese" that I never eat except like this!! A pan or a skillet, buttered on both sides and, of course, on the inside! Two slices of soon to be melted, gooey goodness with crispity, slightly crunchy WHITE bread and BLAM!!! You have just become the coolest person on the planet. Love you, Mom P.S., Add some Garlic Powder and Fresh Cracked Pepper if you really want to be cool.
Kraft Singles American Cheese has been a staple in my fridge for as long as I can remember. It’s not fancy, but it’s reliable—especially when I’m craving a classic grilled cheese. The melt is smooth and consistent, and that nostalgic flavor hits just right when paired with tomato soup or tucked into a breakfast sandwich.
I highly recommend! I can’t believe you haven’t tried it and determined it to be your favorite! I don’t remember not having in my lifetime so I looked to see what year it was made. Oh I remember years ago having the Deluxe not singles. Yes, I’m that old. It was 1950! So it’s been a favorite for many years!!
What can I say, I grew up with this brand. Always remembered the baloney/cheese combo wrapped by wax-paper in a brown paper bag during my elementary school years... lol
there was no problem with the kraft cheese.. the problem was walmart delivery..i was shorted an item on may 16 and still waiting on a refund .today is june 13
