Krakus Imported Polish Ham Lunch Meat, Deli Sliced

There's not a better ham in the deli case. I first had Krakus Ham in my late teens to early 20s when stopping at a locally owned grocery store and getting their ham and cheese pre-made subs on my way home from my summer job at a precast concrete company 10-12 hours daily. 5am-5pm and a 50 minute drive made for long days, but the ham in these subs was incredible. My college roommates and I went to a basketball game near PA and one of them asked if we could stop at a deli in town as it was his home town, so he could pick up the order his mom placed earlier in the day. When we got back to our apartment he offered each of us some hame for a sandwich. I recognized the taste, same as the subs. I asked my roommate what kind of ham was it and what was the brand. Polish Ham he replied, and my mom bought us 4 lbs of it, a pound a piece. Since that summer between my sophomore and junior year in college , Krakus Ham is the only ham I buy. They have a low sodium option now too. Have it sliced thin, but not shaved. Also great to have a couple slices in a skillet on medium with a little oil and when you flip the ham slices after the edges get slightly brown add your favorite cheese like provolone to the ham and cover the skillet for 4 minutes and turn the burner off after the 1st minute. Then remove the lid and slide the ham and cheese on to your choice of bread, roll, or other choice and enjoy. I've been eating Krakus Ham for almost 40yrs and it's still my favorite choice !

1/31/2026 I have been buying Kraukus Ham for years, it's the best ham ever and i have tried a lot of them. Also, the ham i get at Walmart is better than in the Supermarket. The Walmart ham is much leaner , are there different grades you can purchase? i don't know but i only purchase it at Walmart. Soooo yummy !

Best ham on the market. Only issue I have is that there is no option on how you prefer it sliced when ordering online. I would prefer it sliced thinner. I grew up in New Jersey and have loved this ham since my childhood. I'm now 69. Walmart is the only place that sells this ham.

I do purchase items from the deli at Walmart. in person,no problems. I buy certain brands,this ham is one of them. and it's actually the only one I prefer. but when it comes to deli %26 delivery using Walmart there's no way on the app you can choose how you want item sliced.i prefer my item sliced thin.. you get how they want to slice it. Walmart is it possible to have a slice choice on the app. a number scale,or slice indicator. I have received things sliced on the thick side,as well as a regular slice. it's never the same..they slice how they want. I have emailed Walmart..no reply. so now I will add it to my review,in hopes someone from Walmart will see.

We purchase weekly. It's the best one on the market. Always lean and delicious. Well worth the price. Use it for lunch sandwiches, cut up in scrambled eggs, heated up with BBQ sauce and melted cheese on a brioche roll, wrapped around a cheese stick...need I say more? !!!

My favorite deli cut secondary to being brought up on it for sandwiches. I've never had any problem with this brand in my life. It doesn't spoil quick it always taste fresh. Sometimes the only thing I'm upset about is the way that it's been cut in the store very sloppy sometimes.

I want the option of how thin or thick my pieces should be cut. They always cut it too thick. Just another reason why I will go with Jewels membership when this one expires, since they give that option. They also provide an option to make a note like greenish bananas instead of over ripe bananas.

When you order on line they slice it way too thick. Example is if you order a 1/4 lb you get 3 slices. This is way to thick for sandwiches. This is too bad because I like this ham when I order it from the Deli. Walmart should either slice it thin of give you option for how you want it sliced. STOP SLICING LUNCH MEAT THICK !

The meat itself was fine, but every time I order for pick up or delivery, they slice it super thick. This order I ordered 1/4 lb. The bag contained 4 thick slices. That's some real ignorant type stuff! Shows the deli people don't care or have no common sense!

This was purchased through an app order. The lunchmeat was sliced at least TWICE THE THICKNESS of normal slicing!!! At nearly $10/pound, that is absolutely unacceptable! Shame on the deli staff that was too lazy to do a proper job simply because it was a pickup order and no one was watching what they did. Lazy. When the price is so high for lunchmeat, that makes it even more offensive. The product is great - the issue is only with the staff that has no integrity to do even the typical decent job. There is no option in the app to specify desired or expected thickness of lunchmeat. There needs to be a choice for the price of the products.
