We are very satisfied with our new pull out faucet. We had ordered a different faucet of another name. When we received it it was far too tall for our counter setup so we sent it back. No sizing available. Kraut showed the size and we purchased the one for our needs. Absolutely beautiful stainless.
It's the perfect balance of everything we were looking for. It has a modern and clean style, We love our Oletto faucet from Kraus! It's the right matte tone of brass, it's easy to clean, and it functions beautifully! We ordered several faucets that we had to return from other companies and we finally found the right one with the Kraus Oletto. It's located in the center of our kitchen island and it's always the first thing our friends comment about! The pull down hose glides smoothly and reaches around our entire large farm sink.
Have had for about 1.5 years and i love the product. Functionally great and great finish. Self installed and no problems.
We absolutely love this kitchen sink faucet. It is so easy to use and the touch option has changed the game for us! Truly makes turning it on and off so much easier when our hands are dirty while cooking. We have had countless people tell us how much they love our sink + faucet as well and a few people even buy it after using ours! We love how easy it is, the clean & simple look of it, and the pull down spray option as well. Safe to say, we love it so much and would absolutely order it again!
I bought this faucet a few days ago and now love it. However, immediately upon installing, it leaked at the swivel joint for the sprayer head - not where the sprayer threads into the hose. The exploded view in the installation guide shows a gasket at that interface but nothing else. Assuming I had a defective unit, I planned on returning it. But it kept bugging me so I decided to fish out the flat gasket. Upon doing so, the next thing I found was an O-ring. Underneath that was the flat side of a hard plastic U-shaped washer, and finally it was the start of the flared water fitting. This is a long way of saying that it arrived from the factory assembled in the wrong order. The O-Ring needs to go in first and rest inside the channel of the plastic piece (installed second) so that it seals off the water fitting. The gasket (third) goes in next, and lastly the sprayer head. It was immediately fixed. Wrote this in case others have a similar problem. I fear that if I wasn't a mech eng, I wouldn't have found the issue. @Kraus you might need a corrective action in your assembly line lol. 4 stars for the headache, would have been 5 if working out of the box
I bought this faucet in Mar 2023 and within a few months the electronics failed. Krause replaced the entire faucet. Since that time, it occasionally has what we call "seizures" where it just goes on by itself and/or won't go off, or it simply won't go on. As of today, I have to crawl under the sink and touch the batteries in order to get it to go on and off. Nothing in the manual describes using this in an entirely manual mode, i.e. bypassing the electronics. Yes, the batteries are fresh. No, I haven't done any other work under the sink to cause this. At 2:30 Pacific time, there are no agents to respond via help chat. Ugh...
Having trouble with a recent order stainless Oletto spray head with switch to change from solid water to spray keeps going into a mix between both very frustrating. KTF-3104
This faucet is awful, it is also the third Kraus faucet I have bought that did not work correctly (To replace the previous 2). I thought if I upgraded I would get a better faucet but apparently not. The faucet is designed to not work if the sensor is not on, and you can only turn the faucet into mechanical mode if the batteries still work but have less than 10% charge. The sensor turns off when you touch the sprayer, which is super frustrating, and my sensor has taken to turning itself on and off randomly even though the wire under the sink isn't touching anything metal. I've always liked the design of Kraus faucets but I will never buy another one or spec one for a client ever again.
I installed this less than two years ago and it already has failed. Sure, it looked good and seemed to have good build quality on the metal parts, but the electronics and flow switching (aka control module) are definitely poor. The touch sensor no longer works even though the indicator light still lights on and off when tapped. The manual says there is an override in case of weak batteries though this is unhelpful when it is the actual switching valve (inside the black plastic box) that starts to fail. For a while, when I hit the flow switch box against the wall it would start flowing again, but no longer. You can guess how frustrated I was to get to the point where I learned to do that, lol. There is no support for this from the manufacturer either. Considering the effort to install a new faucet once, be safe and spare yourself the effort a second time - just buy another brand.
We replaced the pull down within a year and now it has failed again. There is a design flaw or manufacturing flaw.
