The Kreg DB210 Electric Pocket Hole Machine is the way you want to go if you want professional looking results. We have tried others in the past that were less expensive and had nothing but difficulties getting things to line up right. There was always some type of issue with the holes and placement on the wood and the way the screw went, there was always some type of drama. The drama usually involved us losing time and money. This time around we decided to make a backyard picnic table for the kids and we wanted it to hold tight and last long so we used this machine. This tool creates perfect pocket holes in differed size wood. The tool uses a gauge to help set your drill to make the correct holes and in the right place. The guide fence has a guide to drill holes from the proper distance from the edges of the wood. The tool itself was very easy to set up and operate. Again, we have used others that were less expensive and always had issues. If you want professional looking results, this tool is it.
I found the Kreg pocket hole machine to be more than I expected. It is very user-friendly. It was very easy to lock the wood in place and set the depth for the holes. The machine comes with its own drill and bit. I found the drill to be very powerful. I would highly recommend this machine for anybody looking for a pocket hole machine.
The Kreg DB210 Electric Foreman Pocket Hole Machine works really good. It is portable so it makes taking it to a job site extra easy and it is lightweight. It has a 110 volt motor and you can clamp your wood down securely. It drills materials from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches thick. It comes with a 3/8 inch Kreg stepped drill bit and is compatible with the Kreg micro-pocket bit. There is also built in storage to keep all your drill bits handy. There is a dust collection attachment to keep the area clean but we did not have the vacuum system for it so we just cleaned up after. It really did not make that big of a mess. This is the first pocket hole machine we have ever owned and it has been kind of fun playing around with it. We made sure we read the instructions carefully before starting and also used safety glasses while operating it. I would recommend the Kreg DB210 Electric Foreman Pocket Hole Machine to anyone needing a machine l I e this.
This machine is so fun and easy to use. I have been using it like crazy! It makes drilling these holes so simple. I love having these angels instead of just screwing in the screws straight on. We are finishing our bathroom cabinets, our kitchen drawers, and so many more projuects that have been left unfinished for far to long. You will love this machine! I recommend it to anyone that is building anything from wood!
This thing was so easy to put together and easy to use and makes the holes nice and smooth and the pice that comes out after you can reuse to plug the hole again after you put the screw in. Makes the job of putting cabinets and whatever you are making easier.
I received the Kreg DB210 Electric Foreman Pocket hole machine through the spark reviewer program. This thing is awesome. I use it a lot for making homemade picture frames. Easy to use and pretty lightweight at 20lbs.
This is one handy tool to own! It works well, it is easy to move around or travel with. It is precise and I can't imagine not having this now that we have one!
We just moved into a real house after RVing for 5 years. We have hardly any furniture. Our budget if way off track and can't buy any furniture now. I got the basics but no table nor dressers. I was offered leftover wood boards and panels so I can build my own. The hardest thing for me is to join the boards. This little machine is perfect. It is small enough that I can move it into place. I had never used a machine like this, so I read the directions very carefully and they were easy to follow. I don't have a vacuum system for it, but was surprised that very little dust was flying around during use. The dust just collected under the machine on my table. When done with a project, I just vacuum it up with my regular vacuum or dust it off. If time is taken to measure properly and set it up, it's easy and fast to use. It is not super loud and I expected a shop machine to be. I did, however, have trouble locking the arm down for storage. Instructions said knob down to unlock and knob up to lock. After resetting the drill bit to its original position, I tried to lock the arm down. The knob went up but arm didn't lock. I tried to redo it, but knob is stuck on lock. Arm still goes down for use but won't stay down. Guess it is a safety issue but I put it in our shop and kids are not allowed there while working or unsupervised. It's working great. Got one table done, one dresser done, three more dressers to go.
Set up wasn't too bad with the easy following instructions. I only used it once so far and it made quick order of the job. I gave it a 4 because i thought the clamping should have been a little tighter. The material walked as you drilled it. Overall thou, for the price and its convenience its a pretty solid machine.
This is nice to use. it has large control handles so you can control it better. You can create all three Kreg joint sizes which are standard micro pocket and heavy duty. comes with a bunch of stuff with it and you can clamp it down to make perfect drilling pockets.
