There's nothing to dislike about this product. For the quality, it's exceptionally inexpensive. The steel walls insure that the holes won't begin to wear out and widen after multiple uses, considering that drill bits with cutting edges are are sliding and rotating inside the sleeves. Nevertheless, I slide an oily rag on the sides of the drill bit before each insertion.

works well. good guide lines. wish the grip pad on the bottom held it in place better. it still moved even when clamped down. but overall its well made, solid and for the price im very satisfied

Good peace if you don't have a drill press

Easy to hold in place while drilling, even when drilling horizontally through vertical surfaces. The available choice of drill diameters is probably adequate for D-I-Y home use, but if you are working in a machine shop type environment you will have invested in a more professional drill guide jig. What I didn't fully understand was why there was so much play in each one of the available drill diameters. But, as I said, this would be adequate for the D-I-Y home market, and for me, the loose tolerance was acceptable, as I was only using one particular size for the project I purchased this for. Aside from that, it seems very sturdily built, and will last for many years to come - and at that price, the purchase seems very reasonable.

No way to lock it down to drill hole. As I began to drill it would move a bit. It needes better way to mark positioning for hole. I managed to drill the holes I needed and glue the 2 boards together.
