really handy item. 2-in-1 design, you can drill your pilot hole and countersink at the same time and then flip the bit around and click it back in on the other side to drive in your square head fasteners. I'm assuming you could use a torx/philips/etc if you had a 1" insert bit also. it has a slight wobble but I think thats normal for this type of bit.

This tool is very handy when installing screws. You only need one tool in your impact driver to predrill and install your screws. The only drawback is the main body is made of aluminum, which causes the set screws to come loose from the vibration. We use these all day long.

This is a very useful tool. Some owners tell of the drawback to the driver end saying that the tool can ONLY be used with 'square' drive screws. That is NOT TRUE. I contacted Kreg, and it is simple to EXCHANGE THE DRILL TIP to 'PHILLIPS' TIP IF YOU PREFER PHILLIPS SCREWS. The set screw ON THE DRILL END IS exactly what this is for, besides adjusting the 'length' of the bit.

Excellent product BUT it was a while before I realized the end is a hex key that fits the grub screw to change tips. Not anywhere on packaging does it tell you.

Had to return, arrived opened and damaged.
